This was a roomy place that had everything we needed. It was also quiet and very relaxing but yet close to any of the activities we wanted to do. Great stay.

Everything you need!

This is the perfect place to stay for a couple or a family who want to enjoy the "baby finger" of Michigan with their dog.

When I go up north to the Leelanau Peninsula, I like to be able to hike , kayak, beachcomb and swim with my dog, but so many cottages will not let you bring your dog or if they do, are not very nice. This apartment is perfect. Clean, well appointed, there is nothing that you could need that is not provided. Main floor kitchen is furnished with good quality cooking gear ( this kitchen even passed my 'salad spinner' test), matching glasses, plates , platters allowed us to serve up delicious and beautiful meals. Main floor dining room and outside table provide a choice of dining options depending on weather. Washing machine and dryer are great for not needing to waste time at the laundromat. The living room upstairs has a nice library, games, and a great TV. Drawers were neatly lined and held night lights and dryer sheets and pens, and local info. There is a fire pit outside and the dogs loved playing in the creek.

We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture but that was no problem as my collie stayed in her crate when we went out to dinner.

There are nice dressers in each of the second floor bedrooms, the big walk-in closet for hanging clothing is on the main floor. This is not a cottage for someone who has trouble climbing stairs as the bathroom is on the main floor and the bedrooms are upstairs. So if you have trouble with stairs and have to get up at night to use the bathroom this would not be the place for you. But if your knees work and you only have to get up once at night, plug in the nightlights and stay here!!

We would stay here again. Even though this is near the main house it is very private as you access it by a different driveway and the owner is good about not bothering you during your stay.

If you like to bike you can access the Little Traverse end of the Heritage Trail near this location. We rode the whole trail. We also liked the nearby store and Little Traverse Inn for dinner.

Glen Arbor to the south, Leland to the north, Suttons Bay to the east this is the perfect location. We found some new hiking trails and Lake Michigan beaches to explore. Little Traverse lake and Lime lake are great for kayaking.

Very nice cabin. Make sure your dogs behave well so we can keep bringing ours!!!

Great place to stay, well equipped and well maintained. Good base location for a number of day trips we took. Would have no reservation to stay again at Creekside.

Great location, extremely clean

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here last week for 4 nights. It contains all the amenities you need for your visit. It is very clean inside and out and close to many attractions in the area. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. We also appreciated that it was pet friendly.

Cozy Place

Great, cozy place to stay. It is well maintained and has all you need. It's in driving range to all the great wineries, downtown Traverse, and the sand dunes. Yet, at the end of the day you can relax in peace.
