Perfect Place for Your Up North Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My mom and I stayed her for our weekend getaway to this beautiful area. Creekside Cabin was the perfect place to stay (and bring my dog Emmi with!). The house is so orderly, clean, and a nice place to lay your head after a day of exploring and hiking the woods in Benzie and Leelanau County. The cabin is about 10 minutes away from Glen Arbor (which offers lots of restaurants and shops) and less than 25 from Empire, where the visitor center for the national lakeshore is. The cabin is right next to the Shetland creek which offers a peaceful place to stop, relax, and take in all the sights and sounds of the great outdoors! Bonus is that the stars at night right outside your front door are incredible!!!

Creekside Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The Creekside cabin was great! The property owners thought of everything you needed to enjoy your stay at their place. We especially liked the location between Glen Arbor and Leland. It was very easy to visit some of our favorite Leelanau peninsula spots from Creekside. The Creekside cabin was clean, comfortable and a perfect spot to come back to and relax after a day out. Also recommend Market 22 (delicious pizza) and Little Traverse Inn (great food and a cozy atmosphere) right down the road! We would definitely stay at Creekside again!

Creekside Cabin

This cabin was great and had everything you could possibly need. The space is great, comfortable, and was in a great location for touring the Leelanau Penninsula. We enjoyed a wine tour while in the area and would not hesitate to return and rent this cabin again!

Weekend Up North

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the guest house. We came to the area for a Northern Home Tour in Leelanau and Grand Traverse Counties. The location was perfect with all the amenities provided! We loved the privacy of the cottage but close to Glen Arbor, Leland, and other wonderful places to explore :)

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time staying at this cute cottage in the beautiful wooded setting. The property is very well taken care of and the cottage was so clean- it was easy to immediately feel right at home. Everything we needed was provided and well thought out - I really appreciated that the kitchen items and grill were nice and made cooking in the cottage very easy. We have a two year old and he loved staying there and the space worked out great for us. We loved taking walks to the creek and it was so fun and easy to have a fire at night. Perfect location to explore the dune areas and visit the Leland/Traverse City area. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I along with our two teenage kids really enjoyed our stay at Creekside. It was the perfect location for us to head out to Sleeping Bear Dunes or up to the Leland area. The kids enjoyed the creek several evenings and we used the firepit a few times too. The house is sparkling clean and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook and eat in. Lots of books and a few board games for a relaxing evening to unwind after a day of hiking and such. We loved it!
