Exceptional stay with fantastic staff!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were fortunate enough to find this beautiful home while searching for places to stay as we were packing to evacuate for Hurricane Harvey. Mark was more than accommodating as I had a 1-month-old and 2 dogs included in the entourage and we were traveling late in the evening/early morning hours to get there. He made sure that the house was ready to go when we arrived and often checked in on us to make sure we were okay on the way to Leakey, since it was a last minute booking for both of us. We were amazed at the beauty of the house when we got there and enjoyed our time relaxing (as much as we could) during our 4 day stay. The pictures do not do the house and surrounding area justice!!! What I really appreciated is that the house is about 8 miles north of the touristy area of Leakey, so it is serene. The home is more updated than other cabins/houses I have booked, which is always nice! We were able to visit a private watering hole right across the road which was perfect to occupy my 3 year old son for an afternoon and on clear nights the sky was beautifully lit by the stars. We have already made plans to visit next summer and cannot thank Mark and Allen enough for allowing us to visit with such short notice and ensuring everything was ready for our arrival. Thank you so much!!!!

Beautiful house in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

This house was amazing, we had four adults and six kiddos ranging in age from 2-12 with more than enough room! There is a part of the river just a few houndred yards away that is perfect for relaxing in and Mr. Mark was the nicest guy making sure we had everything we needed and the apple pie he brought us was awesome. We'll definitely be going back again 👍🏻

Awesome family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at the house. As before, the house was great, the river was beautiful and Mark made sure we had everything we needed, and then some. Cannot recommend this place more. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will definitely be back!

Car: necessary

From the junction of Hwy 83 and 336 go 8 miles to Old Rock Springs road. The road is about 1/4 mile from Kent creek crossing. Right on Old Rock springs road about .7 miles look for the numbers 898 on a post on the right hand side of the road. Right on the road stay right past the first house to the cabin.
