We live in a great vacation spot and want to help others enjoy it as much as we do.
Convenient location - a short walk to so many activities or quiet spots.
On holiday from Scotland with a cousin from Toronto and we could not have made a better choice as regards house and location.Karen and Rodger were the perfect hosts and made us so welcome.A short walk and we were at the water side or downtown,a short drive and we were at Holland and Sagatuck equally lovely towns.Arrived home with great memories thanks Grand Haven.
My family had a wonderful time at this clean, comfortable vacation home. It is a very convenient location, an easy walk to "downtown," the museums and musical fountain--very near Harbor House Inn and Bluewater Inn. The house was well stocked with thoughtful extras, including extra blankets, chairs, board games, night lights and even a couple beach towels, plus all the kitchen items needed to make meals, bake or entertain. Additionally, I'm the type of person who cannot relax in a dirty house. If I find dust bunnies under a chair or a dirty window, it really bothers me. I've had bad experiences at other places in Grand Haven. But I was relieved the find that "The Clinton II" was very clean--even the carpets. My family would like to stay here again if our travels take us back to Grand Haven. I highly recommend this property.
The house is so clean and comfortable, and the owners were great.. Was impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was - all the necessities to cook and bake, etc. Nice gas grill on patio. Only two blocks from shops and the channel which is really nice. Part of the time my son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren (ages 2 and 4) were there and loved it! Great space for a family. I definitely recommend the Clinton II and hope to go back next year. If you like ice cream, check out Sweet Temptations on Chinook Pier.
My family rented this house in August 2011. We had a great time, close to everything and house was beautiful. Karen was a wonderful hostess and they had info regarding Grand Haven available for us on our arrival. Our kids, ages 15 and 17 also enjoyed the home. If we go to Grand Haven next summer we would definitely check this out again. We highly recommend this home when vacationing in Grand Haven.
