We stayed in Nathalie's apartment in July 2016 and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, lots of great places close buy to eat or buy local produce. We were a family of 7 and the kids had a blast with all the fun rooms and the piano.
Nathalie was wonderful, such a lovely host. She stayed till we were settled and left us wine and snacks, wonderful after such a long flight from Hong Kong. Nathalie was great in the lead up to our stay and kept in touch.
It was a wonderful authentic Parisian stay and we would recommend it to anyone.
We would love to come back!
This is my second stay in the flat and I came back, because I feel extremely well in this flat, love the flat itself and love Marais. This time, I also had the chance to meet the owner, Nathalie and it was really a pleasure! She gave useful information and inspired us a lot to see the best exibitions in Paris at the time and was very helpful with everything. For sure a place to stay, that I would recommend, we all felt very priviliged to stay in this fantastic flat, that was also clean and with a very good 'arty' taste! Thanks a lot!
I stayed here for 11 days during some hot weather in August with my family, we were 2 adults and two children (12,15). This was a fantastic location. Minutes walking to the Seine, Notre Dame. The metro stop was just right there providing easy access to everywhere. Great restaurants and groceries were just out the door.
This was a fun place to stay. It was not a sterile environment, it was instead an authentic Paris apartment. It had great light by dint of its large French windows and balcony. There was a nice view from the balcony.
Nathalie was easy to work with and resolved any issues we had quickly. We also had a chance to meet Nathalie's daughter Iris, who gave us some helpful tips for visiting Versailles.
We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.
Our family—two parents, two adult children—spent the week of Christmas in the apartment, and couldn't have found a better spot. The well-equipped kitchen and open common area were perfect for us, and we enjoyed the loft-like sleeping arrangements (though those who don't like climbing up and down ladders might not). The 5 flights of stairs might also deter those who aren't very mobile, but being on the top floor is part of the real charm of the place, with its balcony view out onto the Marais rooftops. Other windows and skylights offer great views of the church right next door. Nathalie was extremely helpful, offering restaurant advice beforehand and greeting us (very early in the morning!) and orienting us on our arrival. The neighborhood is ideal--metro stop right out front, every shop you could want on the street, walkable distance from many things (Pompidou, Notre Dame, Picasso Museum, and more). We would eagerly stay there again.
I stayed at this lovely and unique penthouse loft during fashion week as it was very centrally located and accessible to the gallery spaces in the Marais. Only two of us stayed at the unit but there was space for much more. The well appointed kitchen is open and leads to a living area with views of the Marais and beyond. A really special place.
Nathalie, the host, is beyond accommodating and she even found another place for me to stay when her place wasn't available (I showed up a day earlier than expected).
This was my second time to rent this penthouse apartment and will not be my last. It is absolutely the most perfect location you could ask for. Metro stop and Taxi stand less than a block away, tons of great restaurants and shops just downstairs and easy to locate for Uber drivers, though we were able to walk to most everywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood is super chic but not pretentious.
The penthouse itself is truly impressive. There were only two of us staying there this time, but there is room for 10+ to sleep here. The large, street facing balcony takes it to another level. You feel like a true Parisian with celebrity status. The 18th century character of the space is enchanting and the artistic/boho décor is a perfect mix. The common areas are not lacking space. The vaulted ceilings and skylights create a really bright and open atmosphere.
Nathalie and her daughter are the sweetest most accommodating people you can meet.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone that wants a real Parisian experience at a very fair price. You won’t regret it.
See you next year Nathalie!
