New this year- I'll be using a flat fee insurance charge of $69 instead of taking a security deposit, thus eliminating the wait for your deposit to be returned. A reservation deposit will be taken at time of booking and applied toward the rental price.
Hello. My partner and I live in NYC where he is an executive at a major entertainment magazine and I am a musical theater composer. I also own businesses in NY and Provincetown which allows me to live here half of the year.
Alan purchased this condo in 2009
We frequently vacationed in Provincetown prior to purchasing the condo but were never happy with the accommodations we'd rent since most of the rentals were small and ill equipped with most of the nicer places being multi bedroom houses. We felt, and were correct, that others desired deluxe accommodations in a single bedroom rental.
One of the largest one bedroom condos in Provincetown, Monument house is centrally located in the center of town and more of a home and not a bare bones rental.
I had the pleasure of spending two lovely weeks at this condo.
A gourmet kitchen with amazing attention to detail was a special treat for all of my family and friends. We cooked memorable meals and enjoyed post beach cocktails out on the patio. The views of the monument can not be beat!
A five minute walk to the ferry and all of the interesting shops downtown. We also enjoyed being five minutes from the harbor and a quick bike ride to the National Seashore.
You could not ask for a better host than Alan. He was so kind and made sure that everything was perfect. There were fresh flowers throughout the condo and the way the property is decorated is just beautiful. The whole experience was outstanding!
Thank you Alan and I look forward to seeing you next year!
All the best,
Loved our time at this place. Comfortable, sweet, very well situated. The decor is immaculate, it was perfectly spotless, and the kitchen is way nicer than our own. The owners were responsive, pleasant and welcoming. It takes a LOT of work to make a 100 plus year old house comfortable but the AC/ Heat worked great, and the shower was very nice. The property has a few tiny quirks- too few to mention- and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
The overall mood of this place, for us, was, among other things, very romantic. Shame we couldn't be there on Valentine's Day, but it sure felt like we were anyway. If you get my drift. MMMMmmmm. Maximum stars on this one.
The house was clean, spacious and extremely central. The amenities were modern but the house definitely had that classic Cape Cod charm. Alan did a fantastic job creating a comfortable and beautiful home away from home in this little slice of paradise. Would definitely stay here again.
My partner and I booked a last minute end of summer trip to Provincetown. It was very easy to book with the owner Alan. The home is in the center of town - very easy walks to shops, restaurants, east end, west end, and a 5-10 minute drive to Race Point or Hering Cove beaches. The house is decorated lovely, and makes the most of the space. We enjoyed the huge kitchen (we tend to eat out in PTown), comfortable sofas, quiet bedroom, rainfall shower, and heated bath towel warmer. We don't go out much at night, so we really enjoyed the large TV with surround sound. We appreciated that Alan didn't skimp on the pay channels as we had a lot of options on TV.
Alan was available to answer the few questions we had. The parking was off-site, but it didn't really matter as we walk everywhere. Great place for a couple to spend time in paradise.
This apt was a wonderful mixture of old and new. The decorations were old New England but the amenities were updated. The eat in kitchen was large with a new clean refrigerator, nice cabinets. The living room furniture was comfortable with a large screen tv. The bathroom was updated with a great shower, good water pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable as well. The location was great in the center of town a minute walk to the wharf and the Coffee Pot with Lattes and pastries. You can walk to the east end for dinner at the Mews, walk a few steps to Napi's or the Lobster Pot or walk to the west for shows at The Crown and Anchor.
The. Owners was available to respond to text messages quickly.
This brand new condo made us feel right at home. The owner covered all angles and paid attention to every detail. Flat screens and surround sound to keep things with a comfy living room and amazing king size bed. The bathroom was my favoeite because of the walk spa style shower and heated towel rack and toilet seat. Most bang for your buck in ptown. The location was accessible to everything and the space is one of the largest one bedrooms I've seen. The owner Alan was in touch discreetly all week to make sure we were comfortable which was amazing because he helped us out with some local info we needed during our stay. Not only will we be back I will not refer my friends to any other property. Thanks Alan for a great week.
