THE CALYPSO KEY
A completely updated, newly renovated and beautifully decorated 1450 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, with one of the bedrooms converted to a Den/TV room but also used as an extra bedroom, located only 2 houses from the beautiful white sands of Panama City Beach, Florida. Located betweens markers 12 and 13. The house has only just been added on to the rental market after an extensive renovation from stem to stern! The house has been decorated in the 'Hollywood Regency/Glam' style using a palate of blues, greens and grays. The house is a three story unit with the living quarters on the top two floors.
There is a large living room, a 33' TV with DVD player, a stereo with CD player and I-Pod docking station. There is a large wrap around deck and many large windows making for a bright and cheery beach house.
There is a separate eat-in area with seating for 8, a full kitchen including new stainless steel appliances with an ice and water machine, dishwasher, microwave and stove. The kitchen is fully stocked with an arrangement of dishes and small appliances for the gourmet cook.
The downstairs bathroom is very large with a large soaking tub, a large vanity and a very large two person shower. Everything is state of the art including marble and glass tiles. There are two skylights for enjoying the stars during your soak in the large tub.
Also on the main level is a 3rd bedroom converted to a Den/TV room (not fully private) with two twin beds for additional sleeping arrangements along with a 32' flat wide screen TV, DVD/VCR, with movies and games. This room also has patio doors access the large wrap around deck.
Upstairs has a beautiful master bedroom with a king size bed, 20' TV, and a large deck with beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. There is seating on the deck.
Upstairs there is also another bedroom with a king size bed, and finally another 3 piece bathroom with a shower and skylight.
The laundry facilities are in a utility room under the house. There is parking for three cars. The house also comes with outdoor seating and a patio set along with a Gas BBQ.
Panama City Beach is full of fun for the family, from the great beach and beach activities, from swimming, sunbathing, fishing, jet-skiing, etc. We are also located near the State Park for great fishing and snorkeling. In the general area are many great restaurants, shopping including the new Pier Park, Walmart, Target, many grocery stores, antique stores and movie theatres, etc. Never without something to do, or you can just sit back and enjoy lounging on the deck or at the beach for the ultimate relaxation during your perfect vacation.

Both my husband and myself, Kathy and Doug Johnston, are from Canada. We have been coming to the Panama City Beach area for the last 15 years and have always wanted to retire here. We had been keeping our eye open for a house to purchase for our retirement. We finally found it! So close to the beach! In a wonderful relaxing area of town. With the large project of fully gutting and renovating the house to our standards finally complete in early 2010 we decided to rent the property out during the times we will not be there. Being snowbirds we only come in the winter months.

Rental rates for one week includes cleaning the cleaning fee of $150.00. For anything under 7 days there is a $150.00 cleaning charge on top of the $225.00 per day rate.
During Spring Break (March) we will rent to 18 years and older. The increase in price is to offset any liability. Remaining times of the year you must be 25 years of age to rent the property, ID will be checked.
Weekly rates are all inclusive, including Cleaning, Tax, Utilities and Linen.
Daily or Monthly renters pay the added costs of cleaning and for Monthly renters also utilities.
Small pets are allowed and there is an extra charge of $40.00 per pet and a extra $150.00 damage deposit required.
A damage deposit must be paid immediately upon booking to hold your rental of $400.00 (except in Spring Break it is $500.00 or monthly rental it is $750.00) Final full payment is due 14 days prior to check in day. Damage deposit is returned 2 weeks after check out.
Deposits and rentals are paid by Visa, MasterCard or Paypal on our secured website using Paypal credit card services.
