I have hosted guests on VRBO for 6 years and EVERY family has rated my property a 5-star experience! This beautiful custom-built home offers spacious living with a 360-degree view of New Mexico. It’s so quiet, you can only hear your thoughts during the day, and crickets and coyotes at night. Complete with a gourmet kitchen, wet bar, and outdoor grilling area with TV. It's the perfect romantic getaway, family gathering place, golf excursion, or launching point to New Mexico.
Wake up to an unobstructed 25-mile view of the mountains from your bed. From the coffee bar, pour yourself a strong cup of coffee, nibble on fresh fruit, and curl up in the sitting area with a book without leaving the master bedroom. My home includes a stationary recumbent bike and exercise equipment. This is your secluded, luxury home-away-from-home on 10+ private acres in a paved, luxury-home development.
If you hike, bike, rock climb, ski, snow shoe, golf, fly fish, hunt, or soar...this property provides you easy access to some of the best in the country. You can hike/bike directly off the property for miles on private land—where you’ll find ancient fossils, petroglyphs, and pottery shards from previous visitors along a creek. Later that evening, you can star gaze in the dark skies from your very private patio off the bedroom, or watch one of the 500+ movies available in a home theater with popcorn next to the fireplace on a snowy day.
After a few days, you might want to venture off the property…maybe. The club house to the nationally-rated Paako Ridge golf course is less than a 8-minute drive. Many say this 27-hole mountain course, designed by an award-winning architect, is the best in New Mexico. You can take flight in a sailplane out of Moriarty, staying up for hours in warm thermals rising off the desert in a high-performance glider.
Hike to the top of Sandia Crest, then drive back into history through the mining towns of Golden, Madrid, and Cerrillos, on your way to Santa Fe, only 45 minutes from the finest art, crafts, theater, music, museums and restaurants offered in the Southwest. Ride a hot air balloon over Albuquerque the next day.
Bandolier National Monument, site of ancestral pueblo and cliff dwellings, the Pecos Wilderness, and the famous Chaco Canyon are all day trips that usually start with a breakfast burrito. Welcome to New Mexico!
The perfect vacation home to rest, recreate, and explore the Land of Enchantment with family and friends. Only a 35-minute drive from the Albuquerque airport and to city amenities.
Hope to see you soon! Ted

A wonderful high desert getaway!
The house was just gorgeous. The open layout and great patio were perfect for entertaining. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with all the toys a chef needs. Highly recommended.
Beautiful! Well appointed property with spectacular views!
Fantastic place. All needs met! Can't say enough about the views!
Beautiful home. Perfect for our visit
His home was awesome with fantastic views and sunrises. I'd definitely stay there again. Also, great location to Paa'ko Ridge golf courses.
Ted's home was perfect! We really, really loved the home, the view, the location, etc. We highly recommend this home for a perfect vacation. We hope to return next year. Ted was very gracious.
Beautiful Home, Wonderful Owner
We were lucky enough to stay at Ted's place during the week of Thanksgiving. Ted was prompt, welcoming, and did a great job getting us settled. The home is unbelievably beautiful. We woke up to the sunrise above the mountains as we looked through huge windows in the master bedroom. Ted's dog is old and very sweet, our kids grew attached to him and looked forward to returning home to see Seltzer. The home is well away from other homes with garage access and a private drive. This made unloading and loading the car much easier than other places we have stayed in the city- not being worried about stuff being stolen, leaving the car open for an hour while unpacking, etc. The kids loved the stuffed animal collection and there were plenty of kids movies to watch. The kitchen is something folks have mentioned- it really is beautiful and functional. The beds are very comfy, and the whole place has a very luxurious feel. The mountain is close for ski season, and the local grocery store was friendly and had some pre-prepared meals that made things easy. Thank you, Ted!
