Lahaina Shores the ONLY Beach Front property in Lahaina Town is located in West Maui on the famous 'FRONT STREET'. Lahaina Shores is a 7 story plantation style building, which consists of 199 units which opened in 1974. The building underwent a year long renovation, completed as of March 2010, lobby renovations were completed as of 2006. Parking is available on property for a $3.50/day fee or additional lots are located nearby for a nominal daily fee. This resort offer a 24/7 front desk.

I wife and I stayed here for 9 days with our 2 kids. This is a penthouse condominium with 1 bedroom, a sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. It is about 925 square feet and it has a very large lanai which is an additional 220 square feet with a nice view of the mountains. The condominiums in this building are individually owned and there is a property management company who handles bookings, check-in, check-outs and property upkeep. This condominium was clean and it has nice décor. The property has a nice swimming pool, a Jacuzzi spa and there is a gate from the swimming pool area which accesses a public beach. This condominium building is in an excellent location and it is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Front Street. The Wi Fi connection was pretty good. The large TV did not work but we did not bother to ask the maintenance staff to try to fix it. There is a smaller TV in the bedroom which worked. The bedroom is next to an elevator which makes some noise when it goes up and down. This did not bother me but it bothered my wife a little bit. The parking garage is very hot and it has a strange smell. We enjoyed staying here and had an overall good experience. I think this condominium is a good value for your money and I would definitely recommend it to people who do not want to spend a ridicules amount of money staying at an overpriced expensive resort in Maui.
Overall, a nice unit with good location but it could be better appointed and updated. It lacked basic household items such as pot holders, had incorrect coffee filters and a dirty, unusable mop. Be sure to have the property management's phone number with you because the front desk will not help with any problems. They direct you to call the property manager and if it's a holiday nobody will answer unless it's an emergency.
This condo is very spacious, clean, and provides everything you could want for a fantastic vacation! Excellent mountain view where we watched the sunrise during breakfast. Thank you for an unforgettable Maui experience!
