Close to the Beach .Kept up as personal home.In a Cul-Cu-Sac off busy Palm Blvd great for kids and dogs..

1/2 a block to either access to the beach.... it has white columns in the front an has large fenced in yards ..lots of charm and antiques with marble top from 1890. The house 3 bdr with 2 queen beds and double brass bed on glassed in porch southern style . Children love the southern sleeping porch .The master has sleigh bed and solid maple dresser with marble top and end tables from the 1890's there is 1500 sq ft in the house 100 ft from the ocean a kitchen that has every kitchen appliance you could ever need with dishwasher ice maker microwave ..then in the living room with sea blue curtains a beautiful comfortable leather sofa and love seat with 2 leather chairs with the screened in glassed porch which serves as a bedroom/day bed is a double brass bed..There is a huge 25x25 bath and 2 half baths and outdoor shower..Located from the beach 1/2 block to each entrance but off main busy Palm Blvd / separate fenced yard /private hot tub /Closed in porch /grill glassed in AC porch. . The ocean can be heard from the house.The location is great because it takes you off Palm Blvd., the main busy street but you still have access to the beach with in 1/2 blk to two accesses to ocean across the street. This is cul-du-sac has no through traffic in a a residential neighborhood so please respect them there is a sound ordinance after 10 .... a short beach walk to downtown IOP and walking distance to Morgan's Creek Marina..where Bill Murray owner of the River dogs baseball group hangs out..both areas have restaurants, grocery stores shopping areas an entertainment 7 nights a week..

It is built in townhouse fashion so it provides a lot of privacy for bedrooms upstairs where others cannot be heard downstairs. There is a six foot formal white fence around the house for privacy an allowing pets a large space to roam.... I have 20 ft bamboo that provides privacy .This house I love out of the twelve I remodeled after Hugo.There is a recreational complex free for all residents and renters a few blocks behind house that has an indoor and outdoor basketball court.. With in-door ping pong , workout facilities and yoga. Call the Isle of Palms Rec Center..its all free. The hot tub on the property is great for winter or summer .Just turn temperature down in summer. It is also a mineral spa not chlorine. ...please shower before you use hot tub to remove sand so you will not break hot tub. This is a townhouse with a large backyard. Captain is for hire for fishing or adventures on wildlife preserve Capers or sunset Shem Creek..or tours of Charleston. being local islander ..I love showing off Charleston..All information and including internet passcode and address of location information on vrbo so feel safe, relax an realize it takes 3 days for most people to adjust and find the beach.We are the #1 city in the world and on Isle of Palms lowest for crime. No smoking on grounds at any point Owner owned.All monthly is quoted for annual so ask owner for by a month

8 Palm Ct location is off main road Palm Blvd making it a short walk to the beach with a saved natural 100 ft reserved area The house is in a quiet neighborhood good with palm trees in the middle..The reacreational center is located short walk 2 blocks away and it is free with house..I Love this Island because of 40 ft building limit outside of Wild Dunes. There are few people on the beach. It is friendly as May Berry by the sea. Everyone knows each other and the police department is very helpful. It was voted one of the best beaches in US. It is family oriented .Also it was voted best shopping- the best shopping is across the connector at town center. Everything you need in big outdoor beautiful mall. The theater is the best I have ever been in. Then you also have Charleston downtown shopping,live theater , and unique art galleries up and down Broad street.It is wonderful to stay on the beach and visit downtown Charleston.

What makes this townhome unique

Right across from the beach but off the main road Palm Bld which is a cross street. This house is private in it's extremely peaceful and very private in a residential neighborhood that has a Isle of Palms recreational area 2 blks behind the home. This beautiful southern home has new white 6 ft privacy fence and moss covered oak in back. It has a wonderful chemical free mineral hot tub,hammock and outdoor patio. The glassed porch on the home itself can be air conditioned it has huge clear windows that open and close along with Ac vents an unit....The town house with a glassed air conditioned porch 2 bedrooms upstairs and a double on a closed in porch that leads to private hot downstairs kitchen that seats 6 at table an 4 at bar downstairs with the living room and porch all about 1500 sq ft.

There is landscaped graveled parking area with a new beautiful six foot white fence for total privacy. The beach is 300 feet away with a stretch of 100 feet beach reserved to the credit of the building planning of the Isle of Palms .The flowers in the entrance were a beautiful greeting. This is not a new home but an older home well kept an decorated that is lived in part time by a Captain that appreciates the ocean.The upstairs has one large completely tiled to the ceiling full bath with overhead walk in shower an clawfoot tub.It has an additional large half bath for other bedroom plus a convienient half bath down stairs. The new diing room set with beautiful high back comfortable wooden seating of six is a great place to eat an gather easily. The porch is totally glassed in for casual enjoyment of the beautifully landscaped yard with swing ,hammock an fountain.There are hundreds of birds that nest in the back yard an you can hear them singing in the large fun to watch them eat.I give this home a five star rating..

Paving stone patio with hot tub...turn down temperture in summer in the summer makes great place to cool love it..and at night do 1 degree below body temperature 97 an look a the stars might have to splash racoons but one very cold night I had a 35 pound racoon try an get in the hot tub with me..just splashed it away

Tucked away getaway

This property was just perfect for our girls weekend trip. It was perfect size, the only negative was there were no outlets it seemed like in the bathrooms and for girls that is always an issue. The hot tub and fenced in area where just great perks to this hidden oasis.

Spent the week from 7/11 to 7/18 at this house. The accommodations were terrific, clean, beautifully and artfully furnished. It was a home at the beach, much more than a just a beachy place to sleep and eat. We rented the house and mother-in-law apartment and had more than enough room for everybody. The kitchen was supplied well, wireless, etc. There was a slight problem with the a/c in the mother-law-suite but was fixed in one day. The fenced in yard was great with hot tub, grills, hammock. Just a short walk to beach, and center of IOP, plenty of grocery stores to stock up. All had an absolutely fantastic week! Will gladly book again next summer!

Great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

This is a wonderful spot, on a cul-de-sac, so no traffic noise. The accommodations were perfect. My husband and I like to cook, so we took advantage of the fresh seafood. The kitchen had everything we needed, to even make bouillabaisse. It's an easy drive to Mount Pleasant or Charleston, too. The Captain could not have been more hospitable or helpful. We want to come back as soon as this fall.

perfect lace for a get away

We had a girls weekend where we wanted to first and foremost be together cooking and hanging on the beach and the back patio and yard. This place was the perfect spot. It was quaint and well maintained. It felt like we were staying in an old friends beach house for the weekend. We are big cookers and the kitchen had all of the supplies we needed. The house was so well equipped with what we needed and so close to the beach but tucked away from the main road we felt secluded enough.

Thank you Captain Rachel we will definitely be booking again for our follow up trip.

Great Property and Location!

This little gem was a great find and we will be back next year for sure. The location is very quiet and a short walk to the ocean which you can hear at night. We rode bikes everywhere day and night. The property has a brand new washer and dryer, nicer than what I have at home. The maid was polite and worked quickly and quietly making the stay even more realizing.
