Enjoy the best view of Lake LBJ from all the rooms with new furniture and appliances all around. The beautiful 2 bedroom condominium, which is located on the lake, has a large balcony with a good size sitting area, for you to enjoy a glass of wine while sitting in front of the lake. Horse Shoe Bay is a part of Lake LBJ, with multiple golf courses surrounding the area.
The Marriot hotel is only 5 minutes away from the condo (This is a private club; rental of this property does not give you access to the Marriot resort). The condo rental allows you to access the lake, outdoor grill, the pool.
There is also a rental place a walking distance away, where you can rent boats and jet skis. Horse Shoe Bay is also in a perfect location, for it is only minutes away from Marble Falls, and is a driving distance to Fredricksburg, Austin, and San Antonio.

The beauty of Horseshoe Bay welcomed us each time as we escaped the busyness of life and went out to the lake for a relaxing vacation. As our family grew from one child to three we came to appreciate a space away from the uproar and hectic lifestyle we lead in a larger city.

Horseshoe Bay is in an amazing location with activities to the left and to the right. Around the bay there are activities for the family and friends such as strawberry picking on ranches to scarecrow making during the holiday times. Horse Shoe Bay is also located just minutes away from Marble Falls, 60 minutes from Fredricksburg where you may find antiquing and unique shops and eateries, 45 minutes from Austin and an hour & fifteen minutes from San Antonio, where you may find the Alamo, River Walk, Zoo, Sea World, Fiesta Texas and more. It’s located in an excellent area, surrounded by people and houses, and it is never too hot for you have the nice cool breeze from the lake blowing in your direction.
You may enjoy the golf courses, the pool, and many more. The condominium is located on the 4th floor with an excellent view of the lake and bay area. It is part of LBJ lake, and the docks and boat rentals are not far at all. You may rent a boat and enjoy tubing, water skiing, and plenty of more activities. You may also go kayaking, which is very fun and enjoyable for all to do.
Everything was great furnishing and the view of the lake was awesome. Owners was a pleasure to work with.
We stay at Horseshoe Bay often with friends who live there; but it was our daughter's 17th birthday, and she invited 2 friends to join us. Anju's condo is very clean, convenient, and well stocked for a fantastic weekend or week-long stay. The master bathroom was massive; and it was nice to have a 2/2, so the girls had their own bathroom. Parking was also great! We had a covered, reserved spot under the condo tower. The view of the lake from the balcony is awesome and there is ample room and seating out there, with two lounge chairs and a bar top style table with 5 or 6 bar stools.
We had our boat with us, so the day docks were convenient. We would definitely recommend this place for a family or two couples looking to enjoy the lake, golf courses or wonderful restaurants nearby in Horseshoe Bay or Marble Falls.
The owner was easy to work with and answered most of my questions but here are some 'hints' that might be useful!
We had a boat trailer that I inquired about before booking condo and wasn't given the whole "scoop" probably because she didn't know, maybe they don't have watercraft? It is against deed restrictions to park a trailer ANYWHERE in Horseshoe Bay! There are NO SIGNS, you were supposed to know that for some reason. A girl came to the door with a picture of our trailer in our ASSIGNED spot and let me know she would be calling the police (come to find out she worked for Resort). The marina is a "concierge" type marina. They back the trailer, help with loading/unloading etc.all with a price tag! We were told there was free slip parking but once we arrived they said their was a charge AND you had to be a member! There were open spots so the guy let us stay and charged us $30/day for slip and $20/day for the trailer! Just be aware it is not 'boat' friendly if you aren't a Member of resort.
The Condo was nice and set up well for a family. It has a covered parking spot in the garage which was helpful for loading and unloading car (1 day spot was ocp by someone and it took all day to find the owner). I would suggest bringing a few larger pots and baking pans. There wasn't a pan to make anything like brownies etc. I had to use two small saucepans in to boil noodles. Kitchen is not well equipped for cooking. All resort restaurants are off limits so you will have to go to places outside the resort/Marble Falls for food.
The building has a great view! I would suggest this building over the others because of how the sun sets in the evenings.Other buildings have DIRECT sun!
There is definitely the "have" and "have nots" at this resort. The "WATERS" were you are renting are the "have nots" We had a emergency one evening and couldn't find anyone to help us. Exposed electrical outlets at docks were LIVE and my daughter hit one with her elbow and it shocked and BURNED her! Security guys (very nice) came and filled us in that we were NOT RESORT GUESTS but they were willing to help bc a child was involved. In the end, the boat slips WERE owned by the resort and we finally got an apology once I inquired about if they had cut power to the other OPEN fixtures. BTW, no refund on marina charges. Not being a member was okay but you are surrounded by RESORT and it's difficult to maneuver if you don't know! Carpets are in DESPERATE need of cleaning!
My family stayed in this condo for the second Spring Break in a row. Our trip was good and we have stayed at both the nearby Horseshoe Bay hotel and Paseo apartments. We find the overall value for this condo to be better given its size and the interior amenities, plus the deck view of Lake Marble Falls.
Since the living room couch is a pull out bed too, you could easily have up to six people stay here with full privacy. The kitchen appliances are good, and you can cook and bake most anything you like with the supplies in the kitchen. For coffee drinkers, take your own coffee grounds as there is a coffee maker but it's not a Keurig type with the K-cups which is okay.
Our daughters both observed that the light in the secondary bathroom needs improvement. They said it was way too dark in the shower due to the placement of the current light, so that's an area for modification if the owner so chooses.
The Wi-Fi from Northland this trip was incredibly limited, and was unsatisfactory. It worked on occasions, and so we found alternative free WiFi from HBR on the grounds that was used the bulk of our stay. Only two rolls of toilet paper were supplied for our stay, so we bought more along with groceries nearby, but felt more TP could have been supplied.
The unit is kept very clean, and the last area of improvement would be a very detailed description of how to use the living room television set. Two times we've stayed here, and twice we've struggled with the use of that TV. With youth, they won't use the master bedroom TV much, so with no functioning living room cable TV service that's easy to use, it creates a bit of a letdown for youth when they're not watching streaming video and merely want to watch basic cable service. Last trip, Hulu worked. This trip, it could not be found.
We're glad to have found this space, and despite the limited TV service and promoted WiFi, we enjoyed our time. This unit would be ideal for any time of the year.
Great stay. Beautiful condo. Everything we needed. Not a lot of info from owner...how to close up etc. dryer was broken. Also, said sandy beach area for kids....not available.
Great view. Great location. We have family in the area, so we enjoyed being close to them. We rented a jet ski and took lots of walks and went swimming. The furniture is nice and we were comfortable. Some suggestions for the owner: More instructions for the TV. Shower curtain in guest bath too short. Coffee pot has a chip in it. Silver ware could be a little sturdier. All that being said, we had a great time and will return. Possibly the owner isn't aware of those things.
