Five-year old, multi-level, shingle home with 235 feet of shoreline on 4 secluded acres. Close to town and amenities but a world apart. Sit on the wrap-around deck, take in the sun shimmering on the lake, and listen to the call of the loons. Make meals in the gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and two ovens or grill on the outdoor professional gas grill. Sit on the J-shaped dock, swim, boat, fish, or relax. Enter the water using the shallow, sandy entry. Play ball on the large lawn in front or in back of the home. Enjoy the terraced slate gardens. Take a short hike to a magnificent view of Pleasant Mountain. Get away from it all!
This lovely home way exceeded our expectations. It's modern and clearly well-loved and well taken care of. The kitchen is well appointed. And, while the home is officially on a "pond," it really is more of a lake. We canoed, swam and water skied. We enjoyed the serenity, games, puzzles, cooking, water activities, beautiful views, and just sitting on the deck reading. I highly recommend this home and will happily return.

We had an amazing week at this gorgeous lake house! It is spotless and and beautifully decorated....a show house that can be yours for one week!!
It is spacious with so many places to relax...the decks, the dock, the sun room and the living space! We floated for hours in the warm waters, read on the deck and dock and took many peaceful canoe rides.
Three floors for folks to spread out and sleep peacefully. We hated to leave!!
We had a small family gathering at this beautiful home and cannot say enough good things about this property. The house has a large open concept that is really bright, sunny, and uplifting. It was perfect for accommodating multiple guests as there were several bedrooms and sleeping areas. All of the appliances were updated, modern and in well working order. The owners were easy to do business with, very pleasant and in contact with us to make sure we had everything we needed.
The thing that we seemed to enjoy most about this home was the privacy. It felt like we had the pond to ourselves even on Memorial weekend. The water was really warm for spring. There was a lot of wildlife to enjoy, we saw turtles in the driveway and there was a robin's next full of growing babies under the porch.
We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a vacation home in Maine.
Just came back from a week long vacation staying at this house in Bridgton Maine and we couldn't be happier. My wife and our 5 children had ample room to spread out and enjoy some time away from it all. The house is big and clean, with modern appliances and utensils. It has a very open design with the kitchen, dining room and main living room all being on the same floor. Off to the side there is a beautiful sun room for sitting and reading. Downstairs there is another open floor providing a TV room and large dining table which made for a great gaming area. I loved that the big screen TV is downstairs and not on the 1st floor as it allowed some of us to read while others watched TV.
The outside has a nice big deck that wraps around. A good sized yard makes for the perfect place to play bocci or catch or just to run around in. A nice deck provides easy water access for boats and swimming. The lake was clean and didn't have too much boat traffic.
Bridgton is also a great location for other activities. There is a drive-in and some short hikes very close by. 45 minutes away you can get to North Conway or Portland as well, so plenty of options to get out of the house.
The owner was great to rent through and checked in on us both before and after the vacation. This is definitely a house that we will definitely look to rent again in the years to come.
We found the house to be just as beautiful, spacious and airy as it looks in the photos. It was clean, tastefully and comfortably furnished and very well equipped.
Whether sitting inside and looking out from the many windows, lounging in the sun on the large porch or swimming and canoeing from the dock, we fully enjoyed the privacy and serenity of this special place in a clearing in the woods overlooking a beautiful lake. On our last day we watched as a bald eagle soared over the lake and landed in a tree top. We would love to return.
Located on beautiful and serene Woods Pond, which is about two miles long and .75 miles wide; big enough for boating but small enough to be quiet and intimate. The house is perfectly situated on a four-acre lot with a private entry road. In summer, we cannot see our closest neighbor without going out on the water.
Yet, we are also only a five-minute drive from Bridgton, a charming town with indoor and drive-in movie theatres, restaurants, gift shops, antiques, farm stands, ice cream stands, and a famous Remy's Department Store for a taste of real Maine. Lakes abound in the region, including large ones like Lake Sebago. We are also just a 50 minute drive from the airport, gourmet restaurants, unique shopping, and beautiful waterfront of Portland.
