Adorable cabin on the lake with AMAZING views!!!

The owners were very easy to work with and answered all my questions ahead of time. The cabin is exactly as shown in pictures. You can see spectacular views of the lake from both bedrooms and the living area. I loved to watch the waves in the morning. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely stunning setting and convenient to everything in Olympic National Park

  • 4 of 5

We arrived in the afternoon after hiking Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park. The Lake is absolutely beautiful and the house was impeccably clean. The one drawback when we entered was that there was a strong smell of bacon. Since that is not an unpleasant smell to me, it was fine. The house accommodated our family of five just fine. We did have trouble operating the thermostat in the upstairs bedroom and there was no instruction manual for the house to let us know of any peculiarities with the house. Waking up every morning to that beautiful scene on the lake was worth every penny. There is only one bathroom and it is downstairs away from the bedrooms so if you have trouble getting around, this might be an issue. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I only wish we could have been there in the summer and enjoyed the swimming dock and boat. Olympic National Park was one of the highlights of our trip and we would love to visit again and stay at this quaint cabin on Lake Sutherland.

Overall, it was a quiet area with beautiful views. Definitely plan to pick up groceries beforehand. Many great activities and parks were a reasonable drive away... would stay here again!

First time in the pacific northwest

  • 4 of 5

Serene, comfortable, clean, this is an ideal place for a retreat from traffic, work and anything you'd like to leave behind. It wasn't the height of tourist season when we stayed. Close enough to Port Angeles to go out for dinner and the Olympic Natl. Park for hiking and exploring.

Lovely and quiet cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was very nice and quiet. There were a ton of VHS movies for us to watch every night, the provided blankets were of very high quality, the kitchen was well stocked enough to allow us to cook a variety of meals without hassle and we enjoyed the bear-themed décor of the home. Cory was quickly available for some fireplace troubleshooting :)

This is my third visit to this lovely little place. Plenty of room for my small family, everything we could need, close to everything. We love this lake getaway and will definitely be coming back.

Perfect location for exploring the Olympic National Park.
