Bring your boat to this adorable and peaceful Florida vacation rental cottage, dock in its private slip and walk steps to this bright, sparkling clean home in an intracoastal neighborhood! Easy access to the Atlantic Ocean in minutes via the Boynton Beach Inlet. And, remember to bring your pup too...we're very dog-friendly and live in a dog-loving neighborhood.
Enjoy a peaceful stroll down our sailboat-lined streets. Let the sun warm you while balmy breezes blow at your back and seagulls circle overhead. Drift off in complete relaxation to the sounds of the gentle roll of waves from the wake of a passing boat, palm fronds dragging lazily across the bright white tiled roof and the buzz of a plane pulling a banner for frozen drinks at the Banana Boat! In the evening, open up the doors leading to the patio, dim the lights and let the salty breeze in while you enjoy very private, candlelit al fresco dining!
If you're arriving by plane, Palm Beach International Airport is conveniently located a brief 15 minute drive, or opt for the slightly longer, but oh-so-worth-it scenic route along beautiful A1A and the stunning South Palm Beach oceanfront coastline.
Visit our quaint downtown, where you can enjoy dockside dining along the intracoastal. And don't forget the beach...two beaches within one mile and three miles, less than five minutes by car, less than 15 by bike!
Within a twenty minute drive are loads of other activities. To the north, there's downtown West Palm Beach and Cityplace, an outdoor shopping and dining area designed in the style of old-world architecture, centered around a palladium and beautiful large fountains where live musical performances are hosted.
Fantastic shopping, sidewalk cafes, great dining, wine and martini bars, the Improv Comedy Club, a 20-screen stadium-seat movie theatre, and the Harriet for the classical and jazz music enthusiast are also available. To the south is Delray Beach and Atlantic Avenue. Go at night and window-shop, enjoy a fantastic dinner and stroll down the avenue in search of live music.
These are just some of the amenities the Palm Beach County area offers. In addition there's fishing, diving, snorkeling, golf (we're often referred to as 'the golf capital of the world), tennis, museums, opera, theatre, water sports, the zoo, etc.
And our little cottage is in the center of it all!

I'm a native Floridian...a rare breed! I spend part of the year in Georgia, but my heart is always in southeast Florida. I've got sand in my shoes.
Lisa purchased this house in 1998
I bought this home because I was looking for a place that would bring peace and tranquility to our everyday life. This home helps me to fulfill one of my personal goals...to always live life like I'm on vacation! You can't help but relax here with the palm trees, the salty air, ocean breezes and boats going by on the intracoastal.
In addition to all of the above, I love sitting on the dock and watching for manatees, having an al fresco dinner on the patio, relaxing in the yard on a sunny day listening to wild parrots and small planes pulling banners flying overhead. We enjoy having a waterfront dinner at Two Georges. I keep a beach chair in my car and head to the beach every night to listen to and watch the surf and wait for the sun to set.
Great Vacation Home
This home was fantastic. It was immaculately kept and beautifully appointed. It is in a beautiful and safe neighborhood in Boynton Beach. The owners were always pleasant to deal with and they provided so many thoughtful little touches to make sure their guests had everything they could need.

What a great house! It was just me and my sister, but a family could easily stay here. We found it to be clean and roomy. With two separate sitting areas the kids can be watching TV in one room while you read in another. Having a grill to use was nice and I enjoyed coffee on the patio in the mornings. We felt very much at home here. We watched fireworks from the dock. The king size master bed was very comfortable. The neighbours that we met were friendly. If there is a drawback it's that you have to drive to everything, but it's all close by. A pool would have been nice but the the beach is very close and beautiful. Good dining and happy hour at Banana Boat about 2 minutes away. Lisa was very accessible to address any questions we had. I would happily stay here again.
My husband and I had the best time in this house. We brought our two dogs that are usually cooped up in a small apartment. They ran and played and chased each other around the back yard. They learned very quickly to stand by the garage door when they wanted to go out which was a lot. The neighbors new the owner and they were very friendly to us. We live in a very noisy area so this quiet neighborhood was perfect for us. It was convenient to stores and shopping within mins by car. The breeze off the water at night was refreshing. The kitchen has a lot of the things one might need like coffee filters, condiments, cookware etc. We hope to go back again next year.
My family recently stayed at this home. It was immaculate - the pics do not do this home any justice!!! I highly recommend this home to families - the neighbors were very courteous and friendly- I cannot say enough about this home or lisa
This vacation home was clean and kept in excelent condition and had all the touches of home to include snacks and some drink to get started on until we could get to the grocery store. The home is bright and airy with beaiiful tile throughout and light wood pergo type fllooring in MB with a very confortable king size bed. All appliances were clean and worked well. The kitchen had a good supply of glasses, plates , utensiles and cook ware. The home is in a very well maintained small community right on the intercostal and is a great place for walks/runs and bikeing. Our family would definitely recommend this home to our friend if they needed to stay in the WPB area. It rated as one of our best vacations ever.
I stayed at this wonderful home for the month of May to visit and help my elderly parents. There was not a better place to stay as far as location...close to my parents, close to the beach, grocery shopping, restaurants, and did I mention the beach?:) Very clean upon arrival, and much larger than it looks in the photo's. The only downside is the TV room...it was so big that I had to move the couch closer to the TV to compensate for my 50 year old eyes! The yard was a huge plus for my dog, and she loved to TRY and catch the lizards. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood very safe. If you have a boat (which I did not) the dock is only a block away. I enjoyed seeing all the boats on my morning walk with the dog. Lisa, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. All in all, a great place to rent when in the Boynton area. I will definitely return in the future.
We rented the peaceful coastal cottage for three months from January 5th to April 6th 2013. When we arrived the house was immaculate, the linens and towels all excellent quality, couldn't have better in our own home. We found the house comfortable, much more spacious that we hand anticipated from the photos. We spent a lot of time on the back porch, we ate our meals, took our afternoon cocktails, read and entertained on that wonderful back porch.
We have a dog so the large yard was especially appreciated and our Max had great fun running after the lizards and the one squirrel. We enjoyed seeing the white ibis that came to feed in the neighbour's and our backyard and being bird enthusiasts we enjoyed watching the many species of birds that flew around the neighbourhood. The neighbours were very friendly and that made our stay even better since we really felt part of the community. They were not intrusive, they waved hello, walked their dogs along with us on occasion and were generally friendly.
We are ardent cyclists and enjoyed our rides on A1A along the Atlantic towards Palm Beach and in the other direction towards Delray Beach. This was our first experience as "snow birds" and we could not have picked a better location or home.
