We are the Barton family. Spencer and I (April) both grew up in the Salt Lake area. We are currently stationed in Germany while my husband serves in the United States Army. We have enjoyed having a short term rental and have time and again seen how good and respectful people are. We are grateful for a wonderful property manager and family who have helped us keep the rental going while we are out of the country. Thankfully with their help and technology it has been a very good experience. Though we are far from home for now we still call Salt Lake City home and are excited to share our home with you.

The proximity to the freeway, shopping, and bus routes can't be beat!
This is a great location. We brought our 3 youngest boys ages 6-12 to ski at Alta and couldnt have asked for a better spot. 30 minutes or less from the airport, 30 minutes to Alta and the location has all you can ask for within 10 minutes if not less-- Super Target, restaurants, etc. House is cozy, with enough room to spread out but still relax comfortably. Very happy with our stay here.

The owner was really good about getting back to me with any questions that I had. The property was clean and well maintained. It snow on the morning that we were leaving and there was someone shoveling the driveway and walkway before we left. Great VRBO
My family and I loved staying at April's house. It's clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. The wood floors are beautiful. It really felt like home. The location is excellent-so close to the freeway and shops (Whole Foods is only a mile away and Trader Joe's is just down the street. Wheeler Historic Farm is 1/2 a mile away and so fun for the kids). One reviewer wrote that it's on a busy corner and the traffic is loud....this is true, but it didn't bother us at all. Everyone slept well and once inside the house, traffic is a non-issue. FYI: A trick I learned was to pull into the driveway and do a three-point turn so that I could face the street and not have to back out of the driveway. It was easily done even in our big SUV because the driveway is huge. The house had everything we needed and April is so friendly and accommodating. We are staying again in a month and hope that this house will always be available when we travel to SLC in the future.
The home is well kept and conveniently located. It is an easy drive to the ski resorts, restaurants, and grocery stores. The laundry room/mud room was great for staging our ski equipment. We look forward to staying there again!
