Excellent! The owner was on top of thing, answering every question we had. The beach was beautiful. So much that the first day we just went exploring and we ended up jumping in the water. We just couldn't resist! So clean and warm! The house was so welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable. We visited the Don Cesar Resort and had delicious ice cream. Overall, we had a very happy, peaceful vacation. Thank you, Mr. Tony!
This home is in a great location-- close to Pass-a-Grille Beach and convenient to the highway. The house is very nice, was very clean, although it lacked comfortable furniture in the living room. If using this house in the winter, I would recommend bringing your own blankets. we enjoyed our 2 month stay.
The casita is very convenient (short walk) to one of the nicer and less-crowded beaches on St. Pete Beach and overlooks a harbor and protected bird sanctuary. Our group of four had more than enough room to spread out and recharge our batteries after enjoying the beach. The Don Cesar is an interesting focal point from the home's dock. It is a great place for coffee or an evening cocktail. As most people who enjoy the beach for a day have a short walk anyway, the Casita is convenient because parking is not an issue.
The home was very clean, has good finishes with very nice baths, and the kitchen has all of the tools needed for meals in. Tony DeBenedictis has a winner property here.
The house and the property are beautiful. Very well decorated, large and comfortable. The house was very clean. There is a dock across the street from the house. You can sit on the dock and watch the birds in their natural habitat and watch the sunset. The location is close to the beach, restaurants and shopping.
*The problems we encountered on our stay were, first, the key was difficult to remove from the lock box and it was hard to unlock the door. These have both weathered and probably need replaced. Some of the keys did not work.
*The driveway was overgrown. It is a four car drive but we could only get two cars in it. The house sleeps 8 so this was a problem and we had to park on the lawn. You can not park on the street without a permit. And, in turn, this led to the neighbor photographing our cars?? I tried to speak with him. I'm not really sure what he was doing. He did calm down after he reminded me this was not Tennessee (I'm from Ohio). I guess he was saying we were hillbillies?? We had a discussion about the sprinkling system. I understand. He probably paid a fortune for his house and he is next to a rental.
Well when we arrived the key for the front door did not work very well you have to push or pull very hard to get it to turn. We call the few times but they did not come and fix it. The toilet in one of the bathroom did not work so we fix it our self since no one can come over and fix anything. The drive way too small for a big family you can only park one car. The rest of the house was okay and had everything you need.
it was okay but when we call to get something done it take few days to get called back. The front door keys don't work very good we have to slam the door and line it up to lock. One of the bathroom dose not flush correctly so we fix it our self. Other wise everything was good ( location, the rooms and close to the beach). We will be back but i hope they have a faster respond next time.
