Drove up from Vancouver for a Ladies weekend away in July - it was perfect. Everything we needed amenity-wise was there including a covered deck, BBQ, grassy sitting/lounge area and fully equipped kitchen. It was spacious even for 8 of us and was easily accessible. The hosts were helpful without being intrusive and very kind. It's on a beautiful orchard with sweeping views. Close to town but in a quiet secluded neighbourhood with lots of space between properties. We went tubing which was a 5 minute drive, and rented bikes on the Kettle Valley Rail for a winery tour, all within close range. I definitely recommend it!
Quiet area only 5 minutes from town. This house is well equiped and has everything one needs to enjoy a holiday away from home. Comfortable for multi-generational use. Views to die for! Good photos of the property, but the "real thing" is even better. Great yard with sheltered patio. We all loved Penticton. We were there for the Ironman competition - appreciated Orchard House location as it's a little removed from the busyness of the town. Members of our group enjoyed the beach, wineries, fruit stands, Theo's restaurant, Kettle Valley Railway, bike trails, grocery stores, thrift shops and antique store.
