Our C-1 lovely condo is a two story,' stand alone' two bedroom, 2 bathroom unit perched on the ocean bluff in Princeville, with ocean view and relaxing sounds of waves right from each bedroom and lanai. From the bluff you can see the expansive reefs and view the Kilauea lighthouse. The view from the kitchen window is of mountains and waterfalls. The condo is a non smoking, with ramp for handicap access and handicap friendly accommodations in master bathroom, fully furnished with washer and dryer, and is convenient to shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and other services. It is just a short drive to Hanalei Town and many world famous beaches. The condo was recently updated with new tile floors and totally remodeled kitchen.

During our vacation at Sealodge in 1996 we fell in love with Kauai. We purchased C-1 in 1998 and vacationed with our large family often. We love the island, the people and aloha feeling so much that we purchased a home in Kapaa, where we spend part of the year, the rest of the time we live in New Mexico. We can now offer the condo for others to enjoy and fall in love with Kauai as we did.
Anne Desiderio purchased this condo in 1998
We loved the views and the fact that it is a stand alone unit.
Views, handicap accessibility.
The location of Sea Lodge C-1 with its fabulous ocean views was wonderful, and there were many beautiful, small and less crowded beaches within a short driving distance. The condo was clean with new kitchen cabinets and counters, tiled flooring and carpeting in the upstairs loft bedroom, although the living area was rather sparsely furnished. We visited the library often for books and movies. Our stay was delightful and we would return.
This was our 2nd stay at this charming condo. We left the hectic life style of the mainland to spend a week of R and R. One of the things we enjoy the most about this location is the solitude & guite. Incredible views and easy access to shopping, site seeing, and adventure. Getting up for sunrise is a must each one is more glorious than the previous. Sunsets and rainbows also abound. As always we got some fantastic photos for our gallery. Love the new hard wood floors. Aloha hope to be back next year thank you Anne.
My wife and I have been staying at C1 for a number of years and we love it (see the review at the bottom by "alohaj" for a bit more info regarding the pros of SL and this unit), but I wanted to post another review so as to mention that the unit has some nice updates as of summer 2015: new kitchen dishes, pots/pans, and other little things. But the very nice "big" update is the removal of the carpeting, which one of the other reviewers mentioned was a problem. Now there is some lovely wood flooring; it makes a big difference and is terrific. The owners are great, views are amazing, nice fit for couples or parents with 1-2 kids, activities are close, we'll be back for years to come.
The place was great - had stunning views of the ocean, conveniently located, large spacious rooms and a fully equipped kitchen.
Our only comments was that the place is a little dated - couches were not comfortable and the bed was very uncomfortable (we were on our honeymoon and had to sleep in the two separate single beds upstairs). Because it was so rainy and humid the place had a very musty smell and the carpets were quite smelly.
But a great place to stay with a little love it can be an amazing place to stay!
We stayed at this condo for about 6 weeks. The condo was very comfortable and clean and the high ceilings made it feel quite spacious. We especially enjoyed the amazing views from which we could watch whales breaching daily and on a few high surf days, surfers getting towed out to the big waves! We also appreciated that the condo felt quite private and quiet since its almost detached nature ensures no loud neighbors above or below you. Anne was also very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We are hoping to stay there again sometime soon and recommend it for couples or families.
We stayed in C1 the first few weeks of November 2012. The owner was nice, honest and timely in her responses to questions I had before departing for the condo. The condo was in decent shape. The entire complex is a little dated, so I'm not sure what the other ones looked like inside. Ours was clean and stocked with what we needed to spend 2 weeks there. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, snorkle gear etc. They even had a little charcoal grill and a crock pot (that I used to make hawaiian pulled pork believe it or not). It would be tough to stay with another couple, just because there are no doors anywhere with the two bedrooms. One is a loft (twin beds) and the queen is downstairs, right off the kitchen. Better for one couple with two kids. All and all it was a great place, we called it "home" when we were there instead of "the condo."
