|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
The apartment was recently renovated and carries all the comforts.
It’s very bright, with a terrace and a beautiful view overlooking the gardens of Gianicolo. It has wooden floorboards throughout, double glazed windows, air conditioning, heating, wireless Internet and washing machine. The living area has a comfortable sofa, a TV and a fully equipped kitchenette.
In the loft area there is a double queen sized bed with a TV.
Comprise of a bathroom with a large shower, wash basin, WC and bidet.
The apartment is located on the second floor (with no elevator, but a very easy climb) in an old building in ancient Trastevere, right across the Tiber river. Steps away from Piazza Trilussa, where you’ll find a very busy night action with lots of bars and restaurants.
The apartment is very close to all the tourist attractions and historic monuments; 5 minutes walking distance to the Vatican, 3 minutes to Piazza Trilussa, just across the River from Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona.
About Trastevere:: Trastevere is a very romantic area right in the center of Rome, 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from all the major touristic attractions.
Long known by Romans for its restaurants and bars, Trastevere is a pleasant area to stroll in Rome, particularly peaceful in the morning and lively in the evening as dozens of trattorias set tables out along the cobblestone streets.
The immediate area has some of the best Trastevere restaurants and trattorias as well as one of Rome's most famous bakeries all within a few blocks.
A small grocery store, bar/cafe are right down the street, in a friendly neighborhood; so you have everything you could possibly need within the neighborhood
The neighborhood of Trastevere is known for its lively nature, and the array of people it attracts, it's a favorite of foreigners due to its authenticity and the two international universities in the area.
Trastevere is also the location for a weekend pizza for most Romans who gather on the weekends in the pizzerias and stroll with a gelato through the cobblestone streets or along the river for a hand grated granita.
Trastevere is east of the historical center on the other side of the River Tiber. It’s one of Rome’s oldest neighbourhoods and certainly one of the most characteristic. Here you’ll find many restaurants and bars located on the cobbled-stone narrow streets of Trastevere. Once home to the Syrian community and then to the Jewish community, Trastevere has slowly and steadily grown into the second biggest Rione (neighborhood) in Rome.
Rich families such as the Farnese settled in amongst populace bringing wealth and giving the area a certain status that had been coveted throughout history. At the heart of Trastevere is Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere which is one of the most beautiful piazza’s in Rome.
This apartment is perfect for a couple.
It has everything you need - is super clean - and has a great view!
The location is perfect since you are just walking distance from most of the sites but you are about 3 blocks from 'the scene.'
Also - It is super quiet and for those of you that don't know ROMA, ROMA is LOUD! Especially the honking taxis and ambulance sirens so having a cozy QUIET place was key.
You won't be disappointed.
Plus LUCA (the manager) is super helpful with travel: taxis from airports, etc.
A total bonus!
My husband and I stayed here for 10 days while visiting Rome for the first time. We are new at international travel, and staying here was a wonderful experience. Great location - within walking distance of many attractions. Loved being in our own little neighborhood of Trastevere - made us feel like locals. Very clean and amazingly quiet, especially at night, for being so close to everything. Owners were very very easy to work with, excellent communication in getting reservations and checking in on arrival. We would highly recommend using their driver service for getting to/from airport. So convenient and dependable, reasonable price, and you don't have to haul your luggage around looking for a taxi, bus or train. Highly recommend this apartment!
My wife and I stayed here for 7 days, and we loved it. We enjoy walking and this was in the perfect location to walk everywhere. Downtown Trastevere was an 8 minute walk, the Vatican was 15, and we even walked to the coliseum, which was a long walk but was doable. At the top of the hill behind the apartment there is a nice little park that has a great view out over the city as well. We didn’t notice any noise at night. It has some little shops and places to eat right near the entrance in case you needed anything. The space was cozy, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was great for meals and coffee. The internet worked great, we were able to skype and even watched some shows in bed. We would stay here again if we get the chance to go back to Rome.
We stay for 7 nights while in Rome and loved This appartement .It is handsome, neat and bright, lcated near to all the wonders of Rome and has a brilliant sight over to the green Garibaldi hill.
Sitting outside on the balcony you'll be part of the everyday life roman people but yust hear a decent white streetnoise, smelling fresh baked bread in the morningair.
Inside there is sometimes a lack of optical dimensions of the film you can partizipale in, being reduced to everything louder than a smile of your neighbours.
Luca and Rosie was wonderful and always able for any info and especially helpful in arranging transport.
Many thanks your Klaus and Heidrun > 65
We loved staying in this apartment. It was just as written and photographed. Great location, an easy walk everywhere. Including the Vatican and the center of Trastevere, where there were great restaurants all around. A great vibe. Good wifi.
Luca was wonderful and always able to contact for any info. Definitely worth it for a reasonable and pleasant stay in Rome
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We search for ages to find a quiet apartment with a terrace and a view and this had it all. The owner provided a great service and the apartment was as described. The terrace is small but the view is wonderful. There is a small grocery store, deli and cafe just on the doorstep and lots of lovely restaurants in easy walking distance - our favourite was Divin Peccato, 84 Piazza della Rovere - turn left as you come out of the apartment and it is a few minutes walk. There is so much to see in Rome, but if you have time go up the steps to Janiculum Hill, it has a spectacular view across Rome and you can try to spot the apartment. Check which street the steps are in as they are a bit tricky to find! I have recommended this apartment to friends.
