Our house is ideal for a family or for couples traveling together. It sleeps six people with no one having to sleep on a hide a bed. It has three bedrooms: One is the master suite with a king size bed, TV and separate bath; one bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The queen and twin rooms share a full bath. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans.
The house has the bedrooms upstairs and the living area downstairs. The downstairs has a large kitchen with all appliances provided. The dining and living room area seats six and has a flat screen TV with DVD player and a music center. It is furnished with Hawaiian style furnishings and art work. There is a large lanai area outside which has chaise lounges, an outdoor eating area, a BBQ and an outdoor shower. The lanai is screened with tropical foliage and is very private. It overlooks a large lawn area where children can play.
Our house is located about 150 feet from the Dolphin pool and the small children's play area. It is about 250 feet to the ocean beach area where you can enjoy the beautiful Maui sunsets over the island of Lanai.
Puamana is a beautiful, serene, gated community that reflects the style of old Hawaii. It has 28 acres of grounds that are landscaped with lawns and tropical foliage. All buildings are low rise with nothing over two stories. There is about a half mile of coast line that has a sandy beach area most of the year. There are three swimming pools, a tennis court and mango trees for picking fresh mangos. There is a historic club house that was originally the residence of the owner of the sugar mill. This wonderfully maintained club house has sitting areas, a patio, ocean tables, a library and a reception area. There is an ocean side gazebo and the ocean pool which is actually built out into the ocean and where you can view whales in the winter months. There is good surfing at Puamana during most of the year and it is enjoyable to watch the surfers if you don't surf.
Puamana is located about one mile from downtown Lahaina. Lahaina is the historic capital of Hawaii and a former whaling area. It abounds with historic interest and is a great area for walking. The town has numerous world class restaurants, interesting shops, a port and ample recreational opportunities. Whale watch trips and interisland ferries depart directly from the port at Lahaina.
We have many repeat renters who consider our house to be their vacation residence. You will not find anything comparable to Puamana on Maui. It is a unique and delightful place to visit.

It's a wonderful living unit. It is in a garden setting with a big lawn to play on. It is close to the Dolphin Pool and playground for kids. It is located in the center of the Puamana. Just 100 yards or less to the ocean. The club house is wonderful. The ocean pool is one of a kind.
Puamana is a low rise community that is located one mile from Lahaina. It was developed in the 60's. It has lots of common property to walk around. In the winter when the whales are there you can have a great show from the lawns looking out to the ocean. Very unique place. A special haven. Somewhere you don't want to leave. NO KO OI (the best).
We had a family vacation here and it was a perfect place for our family!!! Everything we needed to relax and spend time together!! The place was great- comfortable! The location was absolutely beautiful! We will return for sure!
Super close to the kids' Dolphin Pool, tons of free space to roam safely, outdoor movie on Saturday night, quiet sleeping but close to town.
This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful island of Maui. The condo was nice, within a five minute walk to the ocean. It was clean, beds comfortable. WIFI was not working went we arrived, it was fixed fast. Only problem were the ants. Even though we kept the counters clean, food in refrig and in air tight container the ant would not leave but maybe that comes with paradise 😀We would stay there again.

Very nicely located about 1 minute walk from the coastline (great views of sunset from ocean pool and clubhouse patio!). Townhome was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. It's near the highway but unless you stay there all day, it is no bother. Even then, it's only audible from one upstairs bedroom. Otherwise, it's peaceful and secluded. Individual AC units in bedrooms is great, for individual preferences. Management company is extremely responsive and very capable and friendly. Owners are too ;-)

- no screen around the outside shower (this would make sand-removal more private and thorough, avoiding sand-plugged drains inside)

We were very happy to stay at Puamana. It was a family vacation with us, our two adult daughters and their husbands. We all had our own rooms and privacy, and we were also able to enjoy each other's company in the common living room/dining room. Having a kitchen meant that we could have breakfasts, lunches and some dinners 'at home'. The amenities were homey and the rooms were clean and well stocked with everything that we needed.
We loved the ocean pool - sitting out watching the waves, surfers and sunsets. the proximity to Lahaina was great. It was a relaxing and truly Hawaiian vacation! We would definitely return!
This was our second stay at Puamana and we enjoyed even more than the first time. A nice quiet community with excellent grounds. Its location is great with fantastic dining, shopping, and beaches nearby. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
