My husband and I love living in this historic yet modern Canadian city. We travel frequently but always relish returning to just right-sized Victoria allowing easy access to world class sites and experiences. We look forward to sharing with you what we know about Victoria and its many attractions.

Why The Owner chose Victoria

This location is second to none. In the historic portion of Victoria, it retains all the charm of yesteryear with its refurbished heritage buildings. Yet it is five minutes walk through cobblestone streets to the Inner Harbour and 2 blocks from the oldest Canadian Chinatown. Outside the doorstep are numerous award winning restaurants and the LoJo (Lower Johnson) design area filled with one of a kind shops.

What makes this condo unique

The building is in the heart of all the downtown action, yet is quiet and serene when you step indoors. Quality finishing and thick brick walls envelop you while the 12 foot ceilings flood the space with south and west light. The terrace is a show stopper, adding over 800 very enjoyable square feet to the living space.

This condo on Johnston is a truly great place to stay. The location must be the best in Victoria, as everything you could possibly want to do or see is in walking distance.



The layout of the condo is very flexible, the kitchen is brand new with excellent stainless steel appliances and plenty of cutlery and crockery etc. There is also hook up to wi fi available.



The piece de resistance is the huge corner patio which has a gas fired BBQ, is a glorious sun trap, and means all the doors and windows can be open in the summer for fresh air, with absolute security.

Wonderful property, great location!

We had a 3 night stay in Victoria and this was the perfect location. It was a lovely place to stay - modern, clean, great facilities. Tania was very helpful and met us as the property. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again!

Difficult not to like this apartment

I stayed all the month of March 2016 in this apartment and enjoyed it very much. It is perfectly located, full of light, clean, well furnished and I have appreciated the fireplace very much.

The mattress in the bedroom should be verified as half of it seems to have been used more than the second half. Maybe it is because there was no rotation done.

The only noise that woke me up early in the morning was from the seagulls. Those birds are very big! Of course, they leave their business card, but there is nothing you can do against that. For this reason, I would recommend to the owner to put a parasol for the outside table for the guests who come during the summer. It is so sunny that I think there is a need for that if you eat outside.

During my stay, I noticed that the electric heating was not working except for one or two baseboards. I mentionned it to the owner before leaving. I used the fireplace to heat and give a nice atmosphere to the living room.

At the end of my stay, it became quite hot in the apartment so I had to shut all the blinds to prevent the sun from entering the apartment.

The security in the building is perfect.

I would definitely go back.

Highly recommend * Great location * clean * modern * warm and cozy*

What a fantastic find! The condo was warm and inviting, yet modern and most of all...Clean. It has high ceilings and abundance of natural light coming through the large number of windows. Extremely large private outdoor space that was easily assessable from each room. Great floor plan, cozy gas fireplace, well stocked with kitchen supplies, books, and games. Shops and wonderful restaurants are literally just outside the building (that felt safe a secure)!

It was very easy to get in touch with Eileen via emails and phone calls, and she was super sweet and super accommodating to us!!

We look forward to coming back to this home away from home!

Great location and security in downtown Victoria!

My wife and I wanted a few days in Victoria around the Christmas Holiday season and this apartment hit all the right buttons for us. From the gated off-street parking, to the secure entry, the layout, and the view it was a wonderful place to stay. Admittedly it was winter time so we didn't get to use the terrace much, but I could certainly see how that would be an amazing living space during the summer months! We were within walking distance of dozens of restaurants, and even more retail shops. The waterfront is 4 blocks away, so we didn't have to drive all that much unless we wanted to see more than just downtown Victoria.

The owners couldn't have been more accommodating or welcoming. It was a pleasure dealing with them. When we come back to Victoria we will most assuredly be checking this on for availability right off before looking elsewhere. We recommend this one very highly.

An excellently appointed apartment right in downtown Victoria. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, rooftop deck with views over the city, handy to shops and restaurants and the harbour. All you need for a fantastic stay in Victoria. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

Rooftop Terrace Condo in Victoria Downtown, BC, Canada

We stayed in the Rooftop Terrace from 10- 27 July, 2014. The check-in was efficeint and punctual. The 2- bedroom condo was very clean with modern facilities. The open terrace on the heritage building with the new BBQ grill and patio sitting was icing on the cake. Just as great as they have shown in the photos. The owner was very helpful whenever we needed any information and advice. The location was ideal. It was in the centre of all the key tourist attractions-- all within the walking distance along the Inner harbour-- which was our favourite place to spend the evening. We did not have to rent a car to see and enjoy Victoria. All the good restaurants are located near by -- from Fan Tan in China town to Milestone in the Inner Harbour and many others in between. The Red Fish & Blue Fish. sells probably the best sea food at the Inner Harbour-- but be prepared for a long line up. We have already recommended to some of our expat friends in Indonesia re the excellent location and facilities provided by the Rooftop Terrace. We plan to book it again for the next summer. Many thanks to the owner for such an enjoyable stay at the Rooftop Terrace with the perfect summer weather.
