It is conveniently located five miles from downtown Bend and the closest lodging to Mt Bachelor; with the Deschutes River trail in your backyard and mountain bike track just across the road. Look out the living room or from the second floor deck over the Deschutes National Forest to the buttes beyond.
We’ve furnished this unit and equipped the kitchen as we would our home – for us and for you. There is a queen bed and bunk beds in the bedroom (with a 26” wall-mounted TV) and a Murphy bed in the living room. The living room has a fireplace, leather sofas and a 40” wall-mounted TV.
Kitchen has been updated with granite countertops and glass-top electric cook top. Some of the small appliances include electric drip coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, electric tea pot and portable electric mixer. Ample cabinets are available for food storage. The bedroom has a large closet and chest of drawers so you can unpack and relax. There is a comfortable desk in the living area for your computer.
Besides all the recreation, dining, shopping and more offered in the Bend area, there is plenty to do at the Seventh Mountain Resort. There is casual dining, heated swimming pools, ice rink/roller skating(winter/summer), hot tubs and exercise room.
Summer offerings include river rafting, tennis, roller skating and bike rentals. There is a large open space for children and adults to play and a children’s playground. Golf courses abound in the Bend area; including Widgi Creek just next door.

About Sandra Hays
We live in Tumwater, Washington but spend as much time as we can in Bend in the winter. We started coming to Bend in 2000 when we moved from Maryland to Washington. Bend residents tell us that Bend is the place to be in the summer but that's when we want to be in the Washington Cascades and Olympic mountains.
Sandra Hays purchased this Condo in 2010
Why Sandra Hays chose Deschutes River Woods
Winter in Bend is usually sunny with lots of snow for skiing and snow shoeing. We especially enjoy cross-country skiing but when the snow's not good, we find a trail and go hiking. Bend really is a year-round recreation wonderland.
What makes this Condo unique
We really feel at home in our condo and hope you will also. We enjoy the view from our porch and the short walk down the hill to the Deschutes River trail for the sights and sounds of the river while we hike the trail. After skiing or hiking, it really feels good to go for a swim and then relax in the hot tub. There is an exercise room that we use but only when the weather is not conducive to getting outdoors.

Great spot, had a wonderful time!
Our family loved this condo and everything was perfect!
Fun Family Vacation
This condo was perfect for our little family. It had everything we needed and we loved all of the amenities at the Inn at Seventh Mountain. Our children enjoyed the heated outdoor pools and hot tubs, miniature golfing and even had their first experience ice skating, which they loved! There are great nature trails close by and Mt. Bachelor is just up the way. We were able to fit in some fun tubing on the snow hill. The condo was very clean, well stocked and the beds were comfortable, not to mention the spectacular view! We would love to come again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
A wonderful place to call "home"!
My husband and I stayed here for nearly three months while looking for real estate in Bend, and couldn't have been happier. The condo is comfortable, very light, incredibly well-equipped (lots of kitchen utensils, for example), quiet, and has a beautiful view overlooking the Deschutes National Forest. We were regularly serenaded by stellar's jays, juncos, flickers, ducks and geese and marveled at the occasional bald eagles in flight over the forest. The queen bed was soft and there was lots of storage available, even with the bunk bed in the same room. The fireplace was cozy and the TV was big enough to enjoy the winter olympic coverage when the weather outside the condo was blustery. There was good wifi coverage when we needed it, but when we were eager to venture out on our own, we could connect to the extensive Deschutes River Trail just down the hill from our condo and hike for miles. Or, Seventh Mountain has nice heated pools and hot tubs, an ice skating rink, disk golf, a gym, and myriad other things to do, whatever the weather. They also offer a nice restaurant and pub, and a few "grocery" items if you don't want to drive the few miles to Safeway. And, it's the closest place to Mt. Bachelor to stay and they provide a shuttle if you'd like to have them drive you up to the mountain. Or, if you'd rather cross-country ski or snowshoe and have your own (or rental) equipment, there are sno parks along the road to Mt. Bachelor. Just remember to bring your sno park pass, which you can conveniently get at the front desk of the condo complex. In the summer, there are cycling trails and whitewater rafting tours and horseback riding, and on and on. And, if you're not keen on cooking on your vacation and just want some delicious homemade soups, wraps, etc., head over to Devore's Good Food Store on Newport. It's a few miles away, but offers some of the freshest, most flavorful food around. Finally, you couldn't ask for better hosts than Sandra and Bob. They made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived, and then were available anytime we had questions. In the end, they became friends. I get that this sounds like an advertisement, but if you stay here for long, you'll understand why we enjoyed it so much. It's a beautiful place to be!
Great high desert getaway
My husband and I spent four nights at this condo and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and beautiful views over the Deschutes River and mountains. I especially loved that the Deschutes River Trail is literally steps from the back deck. We had an excellent late meal at the resort's restaurant upon arrival, then sampled restaurants and the Ale Trail microbreweries in Bend. The condo had everything we needed ... bed was very comfortable ... location was quiet and peaceful. Will return!
Perfect condo and location
We loved our stay. I was surprised how spacious the condo truly was and the view was amazing. My daughter got married on Saturday but we were able to get a little R&R in at the pool as well as walking the trails to the pond. My husband and I both thought that I should have booked it for a 3rd night. We will be back soon and this will certainly be our condo of choice.
Ice skating, Roller skating, Heated swimming pools, spas, tennis, pickle ball, bocce, disc golf, bike park, workout facility, horseshoes, horseback riding, walking/running/biking on river trail. This has become quite the microbrewery area with 23 in Bend and 31 in central Oregon. More breweries are opening every year.
