This Luxury LakeHouse waterfront vacation home includes a large wrap around deck off the main level with Trex decking and outdoor speakers. The large lower level Trex deck leads to your own private covered boat dock with an 18’x12’ sun deck with an amazingly beautiful sunset view.
Fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. Two downstairs private guest suites- each with king beds, and an upstairs bedroom off of the loft with 2 queen beds (there are 2 twin beds in the loft area for additional sleeping). Two full baths with showers (one upstairs and one downstairs).
Wood floors throughout the home is another upgrade that has been included in this luxury lake house. One of our favorite features is the original 22-foot A-frame pine ceiling and brick fireplace within the center of the family room. A 37-inch LCD flat screen with cable television, dvd player, ipod port and wifi highspeed internet is provided.
The Luxury Lakehouse is located at the end of a private cul-de-sac with an unobstructed view of the lake. With over 2,000 square feet of living space, everything is in place to provide you with a wonderful vacation. The home has been recently updated, and you are welcome to enjoy the new outdoor gas grill and high efficiency washer/dryer. Please be sure to pack your toiletries, laundry detergent (HE), along with your luggage to save yourself a trip to the store!
This Luxury Lakehouse is located in the heart of Cadiz, close to antique shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, and endless recreational activities including golf, boating, fishing and state parks. The home is waterfront, just a few steps away from your private 25ft covered boat slip and 18ft x 12ft sundeck. We have a steep lot which allows for year round water; gentle sloping lots often do not have water except in June-August.
LOCATION: Google map Cherry Bay Road, Cadiz, KY 42211 for location. Public boat ramp ~ 1/4 mile from house and literally right across the water from our dock. Also, see map below, if link is working. If you reserve with us, once I receive the rental check, I send detailed directions to our place which will bring you past the grocery, gas stations, and the town of Cadiz. Your GPS might have a ''shorter' route, but I have found that it rarely is faster or easier than the directions I will send to you.
LOGISTICS: If interested, please look at the calendar link, located on this page. It is up to date with reservations. If your desired dates are available, please send me an email. I will get back to you as soon as I can. We require the deposit plus the full rental amount, cleaning fee and taxes with the signed agreement (which I will send to you via email). We will deposit that check. Once received, we will send you the PIN code and directions. After your stay, if the house is left in good condition as expected, we will send back the deposit to you. Typically, this is sent back to you about 2 weeks after your stay.
Reservations are placed upon receipt of your check and signed rental agreement. They are marked tentative until that time and are not visible on the website calendar. It is first come first serve- so, if someone has a tentative reservation and has not sent us the signed agreement and check, those dates are still available to someone who does send us a singed agreement and deposit.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check in is at 4pm on the day of arrival. This allows our cleaning person to have the house ready for you. Check out is at 10am, allowing enough time for cleaning, washing and changing linens, etc to prepare for the next guest.
***Sorry, we do not allow any pets. We have been burned on this in the past and are firm on this.
***The other thing I always tell people is that we are on a steep grade and if people have any issues with mobility and getting around, getting down to the dock could be difficult and there are ~8 stairs to get into the house form the driveway.
***Boat trailer parking is allowed in the cul-de-sac as long as you give plenty of room for the neighbor go get to their place. The other option is to leave it in the lot at the public boat ramp- right across from our dock. If you have multiple trailers/boats, they will need to be in the public lot.

We purchased this house to serve as a meeting point midway between family and friends who are spread across the country..
Our home is a great place to unplug and relax. It is secluded, yet close to town. We anticipate that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
We rented this lakehouse for a late August trip in 2016 and were very happy with our stay. We brought a family gathering of five adults and two teenagers and had plenty of room and entertainment for all. The closest town has everything you could need, from multiple grocery stores to several eateries and a number of fast food options.
The lakehouse is decorated tastefully and furnished comfortably, with a great view of the water and a pleasant skyline. The beds are reasonably comfortable and quite large, considering there are six of them. Kitchen is well-equipped, with plenty of room for two or three cooks at a time. TV works flawlessly and content provided is cable based. Wifi works well downstairs, decent in upstairs loft, but doesn't reach well into upstairs bedroom (non-existent if door was closed). Air conditioning is excellent and fans/lighting have upscale controls and function perfectly.
The boathouse/swim platform was the star of our stay. It is well kept and in very good condition. We spent seven days at the property and most of it was on the dock. We swam, sunbathed, fished (successfully) and took many excursions in our boat, from this structure. Water was about six feet deep, quite clean, almost no "lake odor" with an almost imperceptible current.
The owner is very pleasant, easy to work with and communications were handled well. The lakehouse was immaculate when we arrived and the owner obviously takes cleanliness, very seriously. We are looking forward to our next stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a stay in this area.
We have stayed at this property 5 times now and I have nothing but positive things to say! We regularly visit Kentucky Lake and have stayed many places both on Lake Barkley and in TLBTL and this is our repeat favorite. The home itself is well kept and clean with new sheets, and that makes a big difference. It's definitely a hotel-like experience in a house. The dock is perfect for swimming in a clean cove. We also suggest you try the Indian Restaurant in downtown Cadiz, a hidden gem.
This will be my 5th time staying here and I could not be more excited! The house is clean, comfortable, with every amenity I could ask for! A great view, easy to find, wonderful fishing, and owners that are accommodating and reasonable. I love it and would recommend it to anyone!
We used this lake house for a girls getaway and had a blast! There were 10 of us and we slept comfortably. The house was not only clean, but has everything you need. The lake was only a few steps away and we utilized the dock everyday during our stay. I highly recommend this lake house for any kind of getaway.
Our family truly enjoyed our time at this lakehouse. The property itself was perfect for our family and provided hours of relaxation and family time together! My only suggestion is to add steps or some kind of secured stepping stones for the path from the lakehouse down to the water. It rained some while we were there and the path was very slippery making it difficult to go up and down to the water. Other than that....we LOVED our time there!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the house, we were there for 10 days. It was nicely furnished like a home, definitely not your average fishing cabin, and had everything you could want in a lake house. Even wi-fi and cable with on-demand to keep the kids amused on rainy days. Plenty of room for a large group or family. Home is tucked away among the trees, felt like our little private spot. It was hot and humid in August, and we were thankful that the central air made the home a cool oasis on sticky hot days. We enjoyed grilling and watching lovely pink sunsets from the wraparound deck. Very peaceful and quiet, the lake is beautiful, dock fishing and tubing was lots of fun. The house is only a short drive to town, Sonic, Lake Barkley Resort and Marina (boat rentals, bait), Land Between the Lakes, and Kentucky Lake. We hiked, fished, had picnics, swam in the river, went to the Nature Center, Planetarium, even visited the Bison Prairie. Walmart was 30 mins away in Hopkinsville for stocking up. There's even an Indian restaurant and sports bar about 5 minutes drive from the house that Dave recommended, and the food was delicious. Any questions or issues we had, Dave was very responsive. Since it was our first time in KY, we took a day trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, about 2 hours 15 mins away, but totally worth it if you don't mind a long drive. Cave tours were awesome! Overall, our family had a great time and we'd definitely recommend.

The security deposit is fully refundable, if our home is left in the same or better condition that when you arrived. A check from Luxury Lakehouse Properties will be sent to you after your stay and after the cleaning crew inspects the property, assuming no damage was done to rental.
