About Lynn

You don't have to be a hiker to stay here but it may make you want to be....

Lynn purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Lynn chose North Georgia Mountains

I love the Mountains and the outdoors. There is more Water, Woods and Wilderness here than anywhere. Blue Ridge is a quaint town filled with friendly people. I spend more time outdoors exploring than I do indoors. Just love it here!

What makes this cabin unique

A wonderfully real Rustic, Cozy Mountain Cabin. Peace and Quiet. One on One with nature.

Romantic Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My wife of 35 years and I could not have found a more cozy cabin in which to relax and fall in love all over again. The cabin décor was an eclectic mix of rustic and traditional, with a touch of whimsy thrown in for good measure. Lots of natural light, a comfy sofa, a separate area for reading and doing jigsaw puzzles,, and a plush bed to die for. We had planned to stay for 2 nights but extended it to 4 the very first morning. The owner was very attentive and had detailed instructions for Internet, TV, etc. We have stayed in Blue Ridge a number of times, so we didn't really venture out, though there is a lot to do in the area. Our aim, however, was to chill and snuggle, which we did--a lot. Eight days later, we are still wishing we were back there in perfect peace and privacy.

Perfect cabin for 2 tucked into the quiet woods!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect little cabin tucked in the woods! Quiet, serene just perect for the two of us! Though it's a small cabin Lynn is very thoughtful with what she has filled it with. Battery operated lantern for power outage, information on restaurants and surrounding areas. Pics and directions for hikes! She even had an Ingles discount card ! Easy access from Atlanta, Woodstock , Canton areas then only a few minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge! Would def atay again if it was just the 2 of us!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Wow! Absolutely loved my stay in your Hiker's Cabin. You have provided everything I could have needed! Everywhere I turned there was comfort, from lap blankets to pillows, great books to great music. Plus the literature on everything in the area was so useful. I found a fabulous restaurant, beautiful and peaceful hiking trail, and some fun shops. I appreciated the small cooler to pack my lunch and the fanny pack for my hike. My two most favorite places were the swinging bed on the screened in porch and the yoga cabin. Magical! The absolute perfect weekend! Coffee on the porch listening to the world wake up, followed by yoga in the blissful studio, an amazing hike, picnic lunch, excursion to town for a little shopping and dinner, followed by drifiting to dreamland on the swinging bed. Love! Additionally, Lynn you were quickly responsive to any question I had. You provided the perfect setting for a gal to unwind and connect with self. Thank you! Namaste!

Cabin great---Property not as much

  • 3 of 5

The cabin was wonderful. Very comfortable, especially the bed. Hanging swing on the screened porch gave the cabin such a special touch. Only drawback was the view. Not much of a view. We had a great time. Time away was much needed.

Definite pluses and some minuses. Depends on what you're looking for.

  • 3 of 5

Pros: Private; wooded setting; easily accessible; cozy; very nice linens: sheets, towels; comfortable memory foam mattress, LOTS of books, owner was very easy to work with, very close to Blue Ridge

Cons: NOT a mountain view (possibly seasonal view?); very small cabin, very small screened porch, no open deck, no DVD player even though description lists DVD movies

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, A quick response for you.... The cabin is 800 sq ft- perfect for two, just as the listing says. The screened in porch is not small. It's 15'x15'. No open deck because people want shade and screened in. The listing does not state is has a DVD player and DVD collection. It has 150 channels on Direct TV and wireless internet, you must have my cabin listing confused with another. You were a difficult guest and complained about everything. I do not think there is anything anyone could have done to make you a happy guest. I'm sorry for you. Everyone just loves my cabin. Read my many other reviews. Thank you
