Great property, great location!

  • 5 of 5

The space was perfect for my daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren and me. The three bedrooms were at the other end of the hall from the kitchen and living area so that the early risers did not wake the others. The original woodwork in the 1920's building was charming and warm. Although we did not do much cooking because there were so many good restaurants nearby, the updated kitchen was well stocked and nice.

The location could not have been better! We walked to almost everything we did in the city and some days we took the cable car back, practically right to our doorstep. I would love to come back and stay there again and I will certainly tell my friends about it.

Our stay at 11 Valparaiso

  • 5 of 5

I, along with my two colleagues, one with wife along, enjoyed our stay. The location is absolutely perfect and the host has gone to great lengths to provide all the amenities needed for a home away from home. We will stay there again in a flash and may do so again next February when our technical conference once again comes to the Moscone Center.

Real San Francisco

  • 5 of 5

The description of this property says it all: it's in a great location, close to many, many restaurants, the cable car, Fisherman's Wharf and the ferry piers, Chinatown, and the financial district. It is walking distance to most of these sights. The combination of "old" San Francisco architecture and modern amenities make this place perfect for a family or two or three couples. You couldn't ask for anything more.

great place tp stay

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I and two other couples shared this flat for five days in October and found it perfect for seeing all the sights in San Francisco. It is walking distance from all the piers and the trolley is literally right around the corner. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well stocked and the living room was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The owner gave us a great recommendation for dinner the night we all arrived. We would definitely come back if we return to the Bay area.

Fantastic location, spacious and most comfortable apartment!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a superb 5 nights at this residence. As the description indicates, the location can't be beat. We were super close to Little Italy and China Town where the pubs and restaurants were plentiful. North Beach offered some great little shops and restaurants too. The walk to Fisherman's Wharf was not long at all and lots to see along the way. Washington Square park is beautiful and only a few short blocks away. The apartment itself was perfect. It is in a very historic building and the wood floors and trim were just gorgeous. We live in a century farm house and appreciate the beauty and character of old homes. The brand new kitchen, designed to blend in with the historic architecture is fully stocked with all of the dishes and cookware you could ever want. We did not cook in, (except a bit of breakfast) but certainly could have and would have had we been there longer. There were 5 of us and the 3 queen bedrooms were great. Beds were super comfortable, linens were fresh, and clean! The owners pay special attention to detail, this was evident in the quality of towels in the bathrooms. Each bathroom was stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as hand soap at each sink. Having the hall bathroom separate was pretty cool too, as 2 people were able to use the separate facilities at the same time. The owners are very respectful of the environment and recycling is encouraged, in fact it is encouraged throughout this beautiful city. We were first timers but my cousin and her husband had been to the city before. Some of our activities were repeats for them but enjoyed just the same. We went to Alcatraz on Sunday morning, hot tip...the horticultural society give a great tour of the gardens early Sunday morning, we bought tickets on line well in advance as apparently Alcatraz sells out. Dream Team Winery tours offered up a fabulous day touring the Sonoma region, (get picked up at the Washington Square Inn). I would recommend this tour company. We used the Original Hop on Off bus company for a 2 day package and it was great too. We learned so much about what this great city has to offer. We will definitely visit San Francisco again and we would rent this apartment again, it was like home away from home. 5 stars and 5 thumbs up!

Great apartment! Excellent Location!

  • 5 of 5

This place was exactly as described. And Adam, the owner, was wonderful to coordinate with. The apartment was in a great location - walking distance to Fisherman's wharf and steps from the trolley line. It was clean and generally well stocked. The layout was perfect for a group of five 40year old women meeting up for a birthday celebration. We were a bit disappointed that there was no AC but opening the windows helped cool it down at night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Long considered a city within a city, North Beach is San Francisco's best neighborhood. Walking distance to the Waterfront, Chinatown, Lombard St & Downtown. A short cable car ride will bring you to Union Sq & Market St., both are filled with boutique's & major department stores. One could spend the day eating & drinking at many locally owned bars, cafe's & restaurant's & never leave the neighborhood.
