This is really a Very Good place,l rather than Excellant or Good. It's a little quirky, but the location can't be beat!! Great for getting out of town to Marin Co. hiking, Golden Gate Park, Downtlown, local restaurants, coffee, food shopping. Great kitchen for cooking, etc.
Myself and my 6 adult children, just visited San Francisco for 5 days, so we could spend time with my son who is in the service. This home made our trip so much more enjoyable. We had room to spread out and could cook breakfast or dinner at the house, which saved some money so we could see all the sights instead. I do recommend going to Humphry Solcombe for Ice Cream, it was so good!! The managers of this home were very nice and easy to work with. Sri even gave us a tip on an awesome bakery not to far from the home. Thanks Sri it was as good as you told us. I would certainly do it again and would use Boutikia's. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable and relaxing.
House slept a lot of people, and had parking, very functional! Some features were a little old-fashioned, but it's San Francisco, so you are to expect some old charm. Every room was just as shown in the pictures, there were no unpleasant surprises. The garage was pretty difficult to use, extremely narrow, and the door is even hard to open.
We rented the Pacific Heights property for five nights while in SF for my brother's wedding in September. It worked out well as it accommodated my wife and I, our 18 month old son, my mother-in-law, and father-in-law comfortably. We also made use of the extensive living space as we were able to host a family dinner for about 15 people. The kitchen was well equipped and the back yard was nice to have. Having just one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs was an inconvenience as there were often times when we all needed to get ready at the same time. The garage was a nice amenity, but it was a tight fit with our rental minivan and a bit of a hassle to constantly be unlocking the door, opening the double doors, etc. every time we went out. The house is VERY big and felt a little creepy our first night, but we warmed to it. It would have also felt more home-y if our group had been a little larger and we'd actually used all of the bedrooms, though that might have made the bathroom issue that much more difficult to manage.
We came to San Francisco for the America’s Cup and had a fantastic time. Pacific Heights was a great place for us. Location, the house and transportation availability all our needs.
There were ten in our group and the house fit us to a perfectly, everyone was very pleased, not an easy result with that number.
Boutikia and the staff that I worked with were very accommodating and helped me find Pacific Heights after our original choice fell through. They made what could have been a real agonizer totally painless. Thanks, and when we return for the next America’s Cup Event I will be calling on you.
I brought our group of seniors to stay at this home in Pacific Heights. It was a very quaint place and close to driving everywhere we were sightseeing. The stairs were a bit much for a couple in our group but if you are able-bodied you will do just fine. We had visited the Winchester Mystery House before arriving here so it sort of gave us that feel of the Winchester House except that this home is updated. It was plain fun for all of us and to have all the comforts of home in the middle of San Francisco was great! There was plenty of room to relax in the living area. We didn't get to even enjoy the backyard but it was nice just to look out and see it kept so nicely. It was a bit of a challenge having just 2 bathrooms for 7 people but we managed. Parking is also a challenge unless you have a small car then I highly recommend you pay the extra to park in their garage. It was truly delightful!
