Why Carla Short chose Eureka Springs
I was invited to spend a spring break in NW Arkansas by a college classmate. It was an amazing experience! I spend the time in Eureka Springs. A very unique small town located in a beautiful setting of mountains, streams, valleys that defy description. The residents are a microcosm of the entire country due to the tendency of people coming to visit but returning to stay for the quiet country atmosphere. I enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, hunting and fishing. The Eureka Springs area is a Mecca of these activities as well as a marvelous community of artists.
What makes this Cabin unique
I purchased the cabin as a peaceful retreat from the corporate world. The view is serene..the privacy is rejuvenating. I spend as much time as possible in the area and this cabin.

First time in a the charming city of Eureka Springs
It was a fantastic experience. The cabin was exceptionally clean, beautiful views of the valley and the white river, and just a very home like feel. Not only was the cabin amazing Eureka Springs was simply put a phenomenal location. It’s nearby so much entertainment, a wonderful downtown area to walk, and more things to enjoy in neighboring cities. We actually had two concerts to go to in Rogers, AR at the Amp and the drive wasn’t but about 45 minutes from the cabin. I would recommend the minnow bucket to anyone. My wife and I plan to come back when more of our favorite bands come to Rogers, or just want to get away for a weekend. Thanks for a great experience!
Spent 9 days and enjoyed every moment!
Can You Canoe is absolutely perfect! We spent 9 days in the Minnow Bucket. Well kept, very clean, gorgeous views, secluded yet convenient, and staff friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend!
Stephen and Monique
This was a perfect cabin for the two of us to take a break and relax in. We spent at least half our time on the deck just enjoying the view! The location is perfect for access to town but it feels like you are way out in the country!
Perfect Getaway, Idyllic Setting
The panoramic scene from our deck was so relaxing. Distant roosters occasionally crowed to remind that it was not just a beautiful painting. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. We even had Wi-Fi and satellite TV with movie channels. There are lots of things to do in Eureka Springs, and we did seek them out, but to be honest, we enjoyed our time at the cabin more than anything.
The cabin was cozy and clean The view was breathtaking.
We had a wonderful stay at the Minow Bucket. And we are putting it down as a place that we will definitely come back to and stay.
Wonderful stay, no complaints!
We had such a wonderful time at Minnow Bucket. This was a very cozy location perfect for celebrating an anniversary, honeymoon or just a romantic getaway! We loved how warm the cabin was when we arrived, with firewood, a jacuzzi tub and extra blankets. We loved spending our mornings drinking coffee and tea on the back porch and watching the cute little trainboard of a town below. It was such a beautiful place tucked away in the hills yet only 15 minutes away from downtown Eureka Springs. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Eureka Springs!
The cabin is 7 miles from Beaver Lake which is famous for Scuba Diving and world class Striper Fishing. 10 Miles from Table Rock lake for Bass, 1 mile from White River for Bass and Walleye fishing as well as wonderful canoe trips. The Opera of the Ozarks is 1/2 mile as well as Blue Springs Heritage Center ( a portion of the Trail of Tears) Eagles are abundant in season.
