Welcome to the Lake Tahoe Experience. A perfect getaway for families or groups ready to enjoy easy access to Lake Tahoe and Tahoe City amenities.

With three spacious bedrooms and two full baths, there is plenty of room to accommodate families and groups.

Three spacious bedrooms, two with queen size beds and full closets, and one with a full and bunk bed and own bath gives kids and adults their own space.

Of course there is WiFi.

Enjoy sitting by the gas fireplace and enjoy music and movies in the family room, or step out onto the two large decks and enjoy the clean air and blue skies.

Feel like taking a walk? Hiking and bike trails are nearby. Do you like to ski? Perfect! With Homewood, Squaw valley, and Alpine Meadows all within 7 are there in no time!

Snow plow service for the driveway is included in the winter.

Enjoy the big kitchen complete with microwave, toaster, blender, dishes and glassware with easy seating for eight (not counting the bar area). The 3 burner gas BBQ on the deck is fueled and ready to go.

If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy breakfast at the Firesign Cafe or Tahoe House Bakery, appetizers and drinks on the deck at Sunnyside Resort, and sunset dinners at Jake's on the Lake. All are an easy walk or drive.

Summer activities include rafting down the Truckee River, watching the FANTASTIC 4th of July Fireworks on the lake (yes, you can walk to them) and playing at the lake with the family and friends at Commons Beach. Even North Shore casinos are a short drive away. Whatever it is you enjoy, it's close by!

Great home and location

  • 5 of 5

Peter was extremely accommodating with our last minute reservation! Everything was easy getting into the house and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items to make nice dinners and breakfast. We skied both days at Squaw and had an easy drive to the resort. Thanks again for everything!!

Great rental, love the cabin feel

  • 5 of 5

Great cabin feel has everything you need. We loved the location, close to everything. The only thing I would like would be new pillows. The pillows where really, really flat. The beds are comfy and so are the couches.

Great place for families with kids

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from our weekend in the snow and this house was perfect. Plenty of room, lots of towels, and cozy flannel sheets! The location is great -very close to Grand Liebakken, easy quick drive to Tahoe City, 10 mins to Homewood, and Alpine Meadows and Squaw valley are just 15-20 mins away. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. One note: if there's a lot of snow, you'll need chains to get through the neighborhood up to the house. We didn't need chains all weekend except in the neighborhood!

great location, family friendly

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 1 week at the end of December. House is located in a very nice neighborhood is very close to ski areas (10-15 min to Homewood, 10-15 min to Alpine Meadows, ~20 min to Squaw). There is also a nice trail nearby going to Paige Meadows. House is well-kept and with a very nice living room. Peter, the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely go there again.

Great location, all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

We had a nice weekend stay and found everything we needed in this nice property. It was an easy bike to town or over to Granlibakken to do the Treetop Adventure Park, and there were plenty of restaurants for eating in or takeout places close by, plus a well stocked kitchen with plenty of place settings for staying in. The owner was wonderful to work with and we will definitely consider this location again.

Charming and family friendly

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here over 4th of July! It's dated but so charming and surprisingly very clean. They also have necessities like shampoo, paper towels, tin foil, salt and pepper, board games, towels etc stocked which is a blessing when traveling with an already packed car and little ones. The kids loved the bunk beds and having their own bathroom (the kids' room is the master). We walked to the beach and Sunnyside which was a little over a mile. The kids loved running around and playing on the deck and yard. The BBQ worked great for meals at home. Great location that worked perfect for us. The owner Peter was awesome to work with. I highly recommend this won't be disappointed.
