Best vacation home rental experience

  • 5 of 5

I've used vrbo and Airbnb frequently the last several years for my travels and Angie's property in Savannah is by far the best rental home, and the best rental experience I have had. Angie is a fantastic host; easy to communicate with and literally thought of everything we'll need and supplied same. The townhome is a dream - in a beautifully restored historical building within walking distance of all things historic Savannah. The interior of the home is tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home including crisp linens and a well stocked kitchen. The parking spot in the back is secure and very handy. We enjoyed our 3 night stay in Angie's townhome and highly recommend anyone who is planning a trip to Savannah.

Perfectly lovely! Great location!!

  • 5 of 5

My sister Mary and I just returned from a long weekend in Savannah where we had the good fortune to reside (all too briefly) in this gorgeous townhouse. The decor is stunning and airy. Beds very comfortable and should we have desired cooking in - a kitchen that offers everything one could need. The location was perfect-centrally located to all the historic home tours, museum, churches, art gallery and riverfront. We walked well over 30 miles exploring the squares and historic neighborhoods. Parked our rental car in the private parking provided and didn't take it out until we left for our kayak trip to Tybee Island. Thank you Maureen for all the recommendations and for sharing your wonderful home.

Lovely Weekend in Savannah

  • 4 of 5

We recently returned from a long weekend in Savannah and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming townhouse. The residence is adjacent to one of the many beautiful squares in the historic district of Savannah. The location is perfect for exploring everything the city has to offer including Forsyth Park, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and shopping. The grocery store is a short 10 minute walk down the street which was convenient for picking up supplies, wine and food. Although you don't need a car, if you do have one there is a dedicated off street parking spot which seems rare in the historic district. Communication with the property manger was very professional as well. The owner uses a lock box system for access to the property which was very convenient. We also asked for a late check out which was accommodated with no questions asked.

As mentioned the townhouse is very charming and historic. High ceilings, original wood floors and impressive period details. Overall the property was very clean and tastefully decorated which allowed us to feel at home very quickly. The kitchen was well appointed and spacious. The upstairs has a unique layout but it worked well for two couples. We enjoyed the fluffy towels and complimentary English hand soap/lotions. The bathrooms were sufficient but we did have a slight issue with the water not draining properly in the shower/tub. Otherwise everything was great.

By far the best amenity was the private landscaped courtyard just off the kitchen. We spent most of our down time out there enjoying the clean spring air with a bottle of wine. At night you can hear the click-clack of horse drawn carriages which added to the ambiance. This is definitely one of the most desirable residential areas of the historic district. For an authentic Savannah experience, this townhouse is an excellent choice. Overall, we had a lovely experience and felt like locals...albeit only for a short while.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed your accommodations. I'm assuming that the 4 stars (versus 5 stars) is secondary to the slow draining tub? If not, please let me know so I can correct any other negative issues. I will have my housekeeper address the problem before my next guest arrives! I appreciate the time you took from your busy schedule to write such a lovely review. Thank you for choosing my property for your stay! Kind Regards, Angie Post

Beautiful home in charming Savannah.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in charming Savannah. It is conveniently located in the historic section of Savannah and is in walking distance to everything: the riverfront, restaurants and all the gorgeous parks and squares. The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It had everything we wanted. We loved walking across the street to the quaint Fire Fly Cafe for delicious dinners and desserts. We would highly recommend staying at this perfect vacation home when experiencing Savannah.

Savannah with friends

  • 5 of 5

Just like the other reviews, we were very impressed with the location, amenities, and size of this beautiful townhome. Clean, comfortable bedding and furniture, just as advertised. We were able to enjoy historic savannah by simply walking out the front door. Having a parking space was also a plus.

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful townhouse is in the perfect location for exploring lovely Savannah. Everything is close by. It is on a quiet street just off a beautiful square, directly across from an excellent neighbourhood restaurant with a pretty outdoor patio. The home is beautifully decorated but not overly ornate. They have thought of everything you could possibly need and spared no expense is decorating this lovely home. It has a very well equipped kitchen, a great outdoor space, lovely, comfortable bedrooms, and lots of space for a group of four. Even the neighbours were friendly and helpful when we had a small glitch with the gate on the parking area (easily fixed). Always a quick response from the owners. You won't be disappointed with this property or the location.
