Location, location! If you want to be a 10 minute drive to downtown Ashland, yet also want to experience a country atmosphere, enjoy a cup of coffee at the creek or sip a glass of wine next to the campfire.
The updated 1910 farmhouse, set on over 5 creekside acres, offers a peaceful and healing retreat within minutes to downtown Ashland. The house offers large, light filled rooms, that are comfortably and tastefully furnished with antiques and art. The new flat screen high definition tv, and wireless internet access will keep you abreast of the outside world. Downstairs is the master bedroom, with its own porch offering views of the property, a mural on the barn and creekside trees. There is an adjacent bath, with a 6 foot, clawfoot tub and shower. Upstairs is the large 2nd bedroom, offering two queen beds, cable tv, and lovely views of the mountains and creekside trees. The adjacent bath, with a claw foot tub/shower is a sweet retreat in itself( soak in the tub and watch the clouds drift by!). The kitchen is large and bright! It's a great place to gather, enjoy a meal, take in the view of the mountain, and watch the hawks soar into their nest. Oh, it's also fully equipped to cook a great meal. If you want a catered dinner, just ask, I know one of the best caterers in town!
My family and friends have always commented on how warm and comfortable the house is, and how much they've enjoyed their stay. My goal is to insure your visit is as enjoyable. I look forward to meeting you and your friends!

This has been my home since 1997 and I've enjoyed fine tuning it over the years. The best part, it's a wonderful place to share with family and friends!
David Sheeran p.o. box 3331 Ashland, Or. 97520 purchased this farmhouse in 1997
Everyone comments how peaceful it is at creekside. There's no better place to read or take a restful summer afternoon snooze.
The Farmhouse had everything we desired, lots of room to spread out and only a short drive to the OSF theaters. What a treat to enjoy a cuppa tea while watching deer in the field off the patio. We picked blackberries and listened to the burbling creek. Ashland was warm the week we visited so an air conditioned house was very welcome. We hope to return.
My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at this home. Absolutely beautiful property, inside and out. David, the owner, is proud of this home and justifiably so. He was a fine host, occasionally visible watering the yard but not obtrusive in any way. My kids loved the acreage, with the creek, trees, etc. Still close enough to town for us. I could live in a place like this! Highly recommended.
We loved our accommodations in Ashland. Lovely home, fully equipped kitchen, and a wonderful fragrant spice garden to sit and relax in. A perfect setting for A mother and daughter get away in the interesting and eclectic Rogue valley. Wineries, Lavendar fields and Shakespeare.
David could not have been a better host, and his farmhouse is just wonderful! Very clean and the furnishings just lovely. AND the beds were very comfortable.
We cooked breakfasts and two dinners during our stay. I wish that I had such a big, sunny kitchen at home, and it was very well equipped.
The property is quiet and beautiful, and a short 3-1/2 mile drive into town.
All of our communications with David were prompt and easy.
I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
We wanted a little relaxed vacation as well a place to stay in Ashland for plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and this worked perfectly for us. The home is beautiful and feels good. We stayed in the upstairs suite with two very comfortable queen beds; our daughter was in the downstairs master bedroom, also with a queen bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners, and we also used the excellent outdoor barbeque. I spent one whole day reading on a cot on the bridge under the trees over the creek--it might have been one of the best days of my life. The (huge) property is on a country highway, and you can hear cars going by, but we did not find this to be a problem.
We loved this sweet farmhouse in a tranquil setting but just a 10-minute drive to downtown. The kitchen was sunny with a pretty view and was well equipped. The only items we wished had been there were storage containers for leftovers as we cooked in quite a bit. We also saw several plays, did a little hiking at Emigrant Lake and in Lithia Park, ate at several restaurants and shopped downtown. We especially like the Indy bookstores – Bloomsbury Books, Shakespeare Books and Antiques and the Book Exchange. Communication with David was easy, he is a wonderful owner, and our deposit was refunded shortly after our stay. Highly recommend!
