Good service and price, but room could use some work.
I don't want this review to be negative, because I really do appreciate the service provided and the great price. However, the room I stayed in showed signs of heavy wear, which I would assume has come from heavy partying. Furniture was beaten up, the bathroom door was missing the handle which left a hole to peer through and the room in general looks like it's ready for some renovations. The kitchen area was all stainless steel, which appeared nice but I found it covered in dust. Also, I tried to make breakfast and found there wasnt a frying pan in the cupboard, just a pot. The best thing I foiund about the room was the comfortable bed. I'm hoping that maybe my room's condition was just a fluke, and that's why I received such a great deal? At any rate, I still enjoyed my trip and appreciated the great service I received in booking my stay.
Thank you for your feedback.
The broken door handle has been replaced and so was the frying pan.
If our guests don't sound off we don't always know when things break or disappear.
Often the kitchen items are removed for deep cleaning. So a quick call to housekeeping or me could have replaced your pan during your stay. And the bathroom handle was also an easy fix.
And the dust is common since we are in the desert. And this property actually has windows that open, good for fresh air but bad for dust!
Thanks again for your input!
Condo Hotel Marketplace
This is a great property. I travel alot for business so here are the things I noticed that may help with your stay:
-bed very comfortable
-FYI the dresser drawers are in the bedside tables (that took two days)
-there is very limited space around the sink in the bathroom
-no tub, the shower is huge
-not a sharp knife in the kitchen... anywhere
-I could only find one remote for the 3 TVs and it worked on the TV by the couch
-bring your own coffee!
-FYI free valet except for tipping
-bell service was great
-there is a small fridge but also a beverage fridge so with some creativity 4 days of food fit including water
-Starbucks with drive thru up the road
-Great thai restaurant (Krung Thai) just around the corner that also delivers.
-very limited TV channels
I loved this property. It was a perfect location for my business needs. Both the 15 and 215 can be accessed (the 215 access is a bit farther away obviously).
Very nice room!
This room was very nice and spacious!! Great deal!
WSOP stay (1.5 months), Studio
We stayed for most of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) which is hosted at the Rio. Check-in to check-out, everything ran very smoothly, including internet. Booking last minute and flying in from overseas, we were a bit nervous coming in, but the communication between owner, property, and staff worked well. The pool and bar/dining area are much quieter and relaxing than the Palms main pool, though if you want that you can walk across a sky-bridge. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone in town for the WSOP as being on the same side of the strip as the Rio and the Bellagio saved us a large amount of time and money. The only downside that we would say is do not expect to be cooking anything but basic meals in the kitchenette, as the stove top was rather low heat and there was no oven. Having a kitchen to make meals and store items instead of the very high prices of the strip saves a lot of money, however.
A new preferred way to travel
I feel very fortunate to have been told about this hidden gem of a service... From the get go, the experience was a very positive one. I had an excellent experience with the customer service rep who helped me through every step of the process and answered every question I had in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to book through Condo Hotel Marketplace again.
Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Vegas
As someone who has been a frequent visitor to Las Vegas over the last 15 years, I will never stay anywhere else again! I booked this unit through a company called Condo Hotel Marketplace. Leslie was the lady that assisted me with booking my stay. She was very kind and responsive. She promised us complimentary passes to the spa, so that got us off on the right foot. Upon arrival to The Palms I was impressed by the cleanliness and the modern look of the building and lobby. The front desk staff were very prompt in helping us even though they were very busy. We received our keys and our spa passes as promised and headed up to our unit. Our unit was fantastic! The unit was clean and modern as well. Full kitchenette, huge king size bed and beautiful sitting area. The view from our window was of the mountains. It was gorgeous! We immediately walked right over to the casino where there was plenty to eat. McDonalds and cheaper selections like that as well as some upscale restaurants, but not over the top on the budget. Gambling was good in the casino and the servers were good with getting you drinks while gambling. The next day we decided to take on the pool and spa. The Pool for The Palms Place is private, which kept it from being overcrowded with street traffic. The pool had some lounge areas in the water like I had never seen before. It was beautiful. Great little bar in pool area with servers – you could get your drinks and eat right at your lounge chairs. Overall, we had a great unit in a wonderful hotel. The staff were awesome and so were the surroundings. I couldn’t ask for a better experience
