Beautiful area and very comfortable home.

  • 5 of 5

This home is very comfortable. We had a great time and appreciated many of the extras that were offered. The well stocked kitchen made entertaining easy. We enjoyed watching the many deer and being by the beautiful lake. We would definitely stay again.

An EXCELLENT vacation home choice.

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived at the Dream Home a DVD of the Glacier Park was playing, along with appropriate music, fragrant air and appropriate lighting. Cathy, our wonderful host, called us shortly after arrival to ask if everything was in order and to our satisfaction. We also heard from her several times during our stay to offer any assistance or local information. Barb and I stayed for four wonderful weeks. Family and friends came and went during that time, and our experiences included visits to the park, days of hiking, kayaking, hot tub, Bison Range, water trampoline, fishing, exploring in all directions from Glacier to the National Bison Range. All that, in addition to being with the people we care for the most.

This was all made possible thanks to Cathy and Earl, our wonderful hosts.

Great family vacation

  • 4 of 5

The vacation home was exactly what we expected it to be- there was room for our entire family-right from an eighteen month old to grandma and grandpa! Cathy made us feel very welcome, and the weather was great. We spent many hours on the lake with our boat, and with the canoe and kayaks that were there for us to use. The walk to the water was a bit steep, but we knew that before we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the fire pit as well. We could have stayed longer-so much to do in Kallipell! The only complaint I have is the amount of bugs in the basement-we swept up over thirty in the kitchen when we arrived, and three or four every time we entered the bathroom. We did keep our clothes off the floor and checked the kids often to make sure they didn't have any on them. Overall, a great family vacation with great memories. Thanks again Cathy!

Owner's Response: Colleen, Thank you again for renting our home for your vacation in Montana. I apologize for the bug situation. We were there and swept up hundreds inside and out the week before. When the rainy season hits, and we had more rain than usual, those bugs come from the lawn around the house after a heavy rain., My husband did spray completely around the house the day before you can. i noticed the day you left there was not anymore. WE do not get these pests each year, but after having the yard sprayed and the base of the house we believe that took care of it. Hopefully you will come again, blessings, cathy

Great location, clean, and well stocked property

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at many VRBO rentals in the past. I have to say that this was one of the most well stocked and clean properties we have ever stayed at. The hot tub was in great condition. The pool table and games were really fun to enjoy with our kids. We will definitely stay with them again. The owners were very easy to work with. Thanks again! Brian & Reanna

Wonderful property!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Holbeck's home for a long weekend with four generations, 8 adults and 3 children. The layout was perfect with 6 bedrooms; 2 kitchens;and multiple areas for visiting and playing. There is a wonderful view through the trees of Glacier National Park and the lake is just a short walk down a somewhat steep hill (okay for everyone but the oldest generation). We cooked each meal at the house and packed lunches one day - we found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. Our bed (master bedroom upstairs) was incredibly comfortable. The room did get warm, despite turning the heat down and opening windows but on the final night we thought to turn on the overhead fan and were quite comfortable. (My husband and I like cooler temperatures for sleep.) I had a couple questions as I packed for the weekend and Cathy was amazingly quick to answer when I emailed her and this made packing easier. Saturday afternoon temperatures reached the high 40's so we even took the canoe, 2 kayaks and paddle boat out for an hour on the lake. There were oars and life jackets for everyone in the boat house. This was especially fun - early lake outings like this are almost unheard of in Montana! We hiked at Lone Pine State Park, played with the little ones at Lawrence Park and enjoyed coffee at one of the downtown coffee shops. The property was well-described on the VRBO website and was very clean. We were in Kalispell for state gymnastics at the fairgrounds and made a mini family reunion out of the weekend. If we get back to Kalispell, I would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you, Cathy and Earl!
