We are Kurt and Beth Ann Coyne. We live in Northern Indiana. We have been visiting Lake Cumberland since the early '90s.
Kurt Coyne purchased this house in 2008
On our first trip to Lake Cumberland we fell in love with Lake Cumberland, it's people, and it's visitors. We visit Lake Cumberland 5- 6 times per year. We originally rented houseboats, but as the price increased, we started renting property. When we saw this cabin, we knew we had to have it and we wanted to share it with friends and family.
The Cabin sits in a quiet neighborhood just above the Caney Creek Public Ramp. The roads are all Blacktop. The neighbors are all friendly. The view of the lake is great and at night, the stars are bright.
We had two dogs and a 5 month old and the Cabin on Cumberland worked great. The units kept the house cold in 90 degree heat and it was close to the lake ramp and marina. We rented a pontoon at Indian Hills marina and hiked along the water in the evening. Nothing fancy just a clean, relaxing lake get-a-way.
We loved this home overlooking beautiful Lake Cumberland. The house had all of the amenities we needed, plus extras, and it was extremely clean! The owner was very accommodating when we had an issue with our boat trailer and had to change dates at the last minute. We will definitely be back for a visit!
Comfortable cabin in a great location with a wonderful view! Very convenient to the boat ramp .. Quiet area, well kept up cabin. We had a great experience!
This was our third year in a row taking our family to Lake Cumberland, and we always stay here. Everything was perfect as always. Great outdoor space for sitting my the fire or grilling out. The cabin has everything we need, and the space easily accommodates two couples and four children.
Alligator II Marina is only five minutes away by car.
We truly enjoyeed the quiet tranquility of the place. The view on the back porch is the best! The kitchen was well stocked and loved all the "extras" that show the love the owners have in the place. Two bedrooms upstairs, one down. Only one full bathroom on main floor. Did not cause us any trouble since we just had a party of two couples. Firepit overlooking great view was stocked with firewood. We made the best smores! We ventured out to the State Park and took a hike, then had dinner at the lodge overlooking the lake. We loved the place and would love to come back.
We had a great relaxing vacation. The cabin is very close to several state parks, and right by a public boat ramp. We took our dogs and were able to take a few hikes and explore the woods. The kitchen was fully equipped to make family meals, and very cozy. You will definitely feel at home. My son has asked if we can come back again!
