About Travis Smith
I am a life-long Memphian with extensive knowledge of the area and all it has to offer. If desired, I will be happy to share my recommendations and insight into the area. This was my private residence for approximately two years and later served as a great get-away for my husband and me from our residence in Germantown, a suburb of Memphis
Travis Smith purchased this Townhome in 2003
Why Travis Smith chose South Main Historic District
When I purchased this townhome, I was single and drawn to the area because of the myriad of activities within walking distance. Once work was finished for the week, I could park my car for the weekend and walk to any number of entertainment venues and great restaurants. There is always something going on downtown. It is truly a vibrant neighborhood!
What makes this Townhome unique
The greatest asset to this property is the easy accessibility to almost anything you may want to do - restaurants, sporting events, night life, art galleries, historic sites and the breath-taking riverfront. If you love good food, live music and theater as much as I do, you will be in heaven. The neighbors are phenomenal!

We had a blast during our weekend on Beale Street! So greatful that we were able to stay at such a gorgeous rental that was so close to everything! I look forward to doing it again in the future!
Thanks for taking the tome to write a review. Glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
Great House and Close to downtown!
I went to a girls weekend and we had plenty of space. It is a nice size and within a 10 minute or less walking distance to Beale street. I would recommend renting this house if you are staying in Memphis.
The house is definitely centralized. Lots of things in walking distance.
Suggest taking ear plugs, can hear a lot at night trying to sleep. No issues.
Disappointed we did not get a 5 star here as most of our ratings are and that is what we strive to achieve with every client. We are located in the entertainment districts and sometimes there is a bit of noise but it is rare that anyone mentions it so apparently not bad. There is a white noise machine in the bedroom for those who are light sleepers.
We loved this place. We never felt unsafe at all, and walked all over. We will definitely stay here
The owners had everything you needed to stay there, they were great. Thanks for everything
Great stay and location!!
We LOVED this location - it was within walking distance to Beale Street where we went every evening. Very close to Civil Rights Museum and South Main shopping. Private parking is wonderful. The home was wonderful as well - very nicely decorated and very comfortable beds. Travis was so easy to work with and he always answered promptly.
It was too cold to enjoy the balcony patio but I'm sure it's great in nice weather. Plenty of dishes and kitchenware - the only 'must-have' for me (coffee, sugar, creamer) was already set out - thank you! Bring earplugs if you have difficulty sleeping with noise as street traffic is pretty loud - doesn't bother me and my hubby wore earplugs and had no issues.
The only thing keeping me from 5 starts is that the t.v. did not work as it was supposed to and we had planned to watch movies some evenings. The DVD player was missing and the applications for using the Netflix, etc. just did not work. It really appeared that another component was missing - maybe it went with the DVD player. The upstairs t.v. needed replaced and I'm sure it will be soon.
This is a GREAT find in Memphis if you want to be close to Beale and have the luxury of private parking along with a gracious host and nice accommodations. Several nice restaurants very close as well. We would definitely stay here again!
Sorry about the
Missing DVD. There was one there and it must have gone missing recently. We were out of town and could not go check on it. We wil be replacing both the DVD and the upstairs TV soon.
The property was very clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location..
My friend and I participated in the Saint Jude marathon weekend. This was a wonderful place to stay because it was so close to everything we wanted to see. We love the Decor of the condo, all Memphis themed. The unit was very clean and well equipped.
Thank you for your review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at our Townhouse and in our city.
