Santa Maria villa apartment is situated in one of the more tranquil areas of Mellieha whilst still being in easy reach of all the resort amenities. This Air conditioned self catering apartment is fully equipped for a self catering holiday with either twin or double beds, kitchen with dining/lounge area, 1 bathroom & shower toilet ensuite for the 2-bedroom apt. Apartment has its own front sun patio with own garden furniture. BBQ can be arranged individually. About The Owner

The holiday apartments are owned and run by Mr. Joseph & Mrs. Lourdes Schembri. Together, they share at least 30 years of experience within the tourist accommodation industry. They have 3 different properties available, namely Villa Santa Maria Apartments, Merill Apartments and the Vista Apartments.

The Owner purchased this villa in 1978

Mr. Schembri told us he organized a taxi that will pick us up tomorrow at 6:30 in the morning. Please correct me if I am wrong with the time. Because our flight will depart at 9:40.



Everything was fine, I will recomend you without any doubts. Only from the beginning in our Vista App. Nr. 4 some light bulbs didn't work or where not there, for ex.in the bigger bathroom at the mirrow .. But that was no big problem for us.



We will leave both keys inside the app.tomorrow

Santa Maria Villa & Merrill Apartments Melleiah

As I am in a wheelchair we were rather worried about the suitability of booking an apartment abroad but the owners assured us it would be ideal, and it was. The owners were so kind & helpful but not at all intrusive.

The property was very clean and well maintained. On the one evening when we had a terrific rain storm and water flooded everywhere, they quickly cleaned up.Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartments are in a lively town but set back from the hustle 'n' bustle so you get a peacful nights sleep.

There are so many places to see & things to do that after such a great holiday in 2006 we returned in 2007 to the Merrill Apartments.

The owners are so caring and helpful, the apartments clean and bright, the weather superb, the locals so friendly, the food's great and plenty to do and see IF you've got transport or just laze on the beach: what more do you want on holiday?

Malta here we come again!

Très bon séjour dans un endroit très agréable

Appartement très agréable, très frais (ce qui sera apprécié en été). Piscine très agréable également.

L'ensemble extérieur de la maison est très joli. Fait avec beaucoup de goût, avec des touches de verdure du meilleur effet.

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et serviables. Les maltais en général aussi d'ailleurs.

Situé dans un quartier résidentiel huppé très calme. A proximité (5 minutes) d'un super marché très pratique, d'un arrêt de bus aux nombreuses lignes directes vers toute l'île (Aéroport, La Valette, zoo aquatique, Gozo, etc.). D'où la possibilité de visiter l'île en bus sans voiture.

La plage est trop loin pour y aller à pied car chemin très en pente. Mais le bus y amène directement (plage de Mellieha).

Attention, Malte est très ventée (ce qui sera apprécié en été). :-)

Je vous recommande donc cette location.

Mellieha Village is an excellent place to stay for holidays in Malta, since it is located in the north of Malta, one can easily go to Gozo or Comino. Whilst towards the other side, one can visit St.Julians and Sliema for further nightlife and entertainment. Crossing over from Mellieha to Gozo is easy and would just require a 5 to 10 minute drive to the Gozo Channel car ferry terminal. From Mellieha to St.Julians would take approx 30 minutes drive and buses are also available frequently during the day till late (in the summer months) . The north of Malta is also ideal due to being relatively closer to larger sandy beaches, apart from its own beach in Mellieha Bay. Nearby beaches are Golden Bay and Ghajn tuffieha which are also popular beautiful beaches.

The Village feast of Mellieha is on the 8th of September, that reminds the locals and tourists of some of the most important historic events from the glorious history of Malta

Located in Mellieha, this property has excellent bus links into the town centre, where you can then catch the airport bus to Malta International Airport.
