Beautiful beach condo with many great reviews from our valued guests. Enjoy the warm Gulf breezes as you sit on your waterfront balcony. This 1400 sq ft condo is 1 of the largest in the area. It's great for a romantic getaway or family time together. You'll have 2 queen size beds and bunk beds!!! Maximum occupancy is 6 people.
The beautiful interior includes a full kitchen AND washer/dryer. There's a 2 car enclosed garage, private heated pool, beach chairs, toys and towels. The beach is about 150 steps away. When you get tired of relaxing on the sand or reading by the pool, there's even a private fishing pier that is yours to watch the boats or catch some fish. Restaurants and shops are close by, some even within walking distance. A trolley takes you up and down Gulf Blvd so you can explore all the beaches. There's a stop next to the condo property. All you have to do is show up, sit back and enjoy.
We have owned the condo since 2009. We spent a lot of time this summer upgrading it and we are very happy with the results. We live in Pittsburgh, PA, so we can only come down every so often and we are renting out the condo when we can not use it ourselves.
Patrik & Eva Albertsson purchased this condo in 2009
Indian Shores is the quietest, most relaxed part of Sand Key, the barrier island that runs along the Gulf shore from St Pete to Clearwater. It is the narrowest part of Sand Key, only about 200 yards across where we are located. That means you can enjoy both the Gulf of Mexico and the Inter-coastal waterway only a few steps apart. Indian Shores is the last part of the coastline in Pinellas County that preserves the small-town feel. Gulf Blvd is still only one lane in each direction here with a slow speed limit. There is a lot less asphalt compared to the areas north and south of Indian Shores, a lot fewer high-rise buildings and none of the tourist traps. While you will find all the restaurants and conveniences you need nearby, Indian Shores is still primarily a family oriented community.
Our view is of the Inter-coastal waterway, the body of water that separates Sand Key from the mainland. There are dolphins to see, they are most active in the mornings and evenings. Manatees are a little harder to spot but they are there too. When the tide is low there is a sandbar that emerges just off our balcony. The seabirds all come to feed there and it is wonderful entertainment.
A vacation is something that you look forward to and if you are looking for the perfect place to stay, then this is it! I find myself reading reviews and analyzing descriptions before committing to anything because it is so hard to know what you are getting. This condo was exactly as described. It is beautifully decorated, very spacious and has anything that you could possibly need. My husband, along with our 16 year old twin girls enjoyed the beach everyday! The girls loved their "fancy suite" as they called it. The loved the large shower, spacious room , big bathroom and large windows. The weather was sunny, the water was warm, and the beach was super close, right across the street. We had coffee on the balcony each morning and watched the sunrise from the back intercoastal waterway fishing dock. We were able to walk down the road for ice cream and then head to the beach to watch the sunset (which let me tell you was gorgeous!) We loved the fact that Indian Shores Beach was not crowded, there are tons of beautiful seashells, and we even saw fish swimming in the waves. It is close enough to drive to other beaches to check them out if you so desire, but after doing so we were so happy we chose here. There were dolphins in the evenings off the dock out back and also from fishing pier at Fort DeSoto just a short drive away. Patrik and Eva, we cannot thank you enough for allowing to stay at your home. You always replied promptly, answered any questions, and were super helpful with anything we needed. You have a beautiful home and provide excellent service to those staying with you. We are looking forward to returning maybe even for a longer stay next time! We highly recommend this rental property to anybody thinking about a vacation to the beautiful gulf side! You will not be disappointed!
The condo itself is beautiful. Nice floors and kitchen, and great space for me, my wife, and four kids. The property has a nice pool, and is just a short walk from the beach. Patrik was extremely prompt and helpful throughout the whole process. While there is not a view of the ocean or intercoastal, the balcony overlooks a nice wooded area with a water inlet off of the intercoastal. I would highly recommend this property.
Patrik and Eva, what can we say that hasn't already been mentioned before. Your Condo at Indian Shores was simply stunning and a very welcome relaxing break after a rather hectic week over in Orlando. All your help and advice before, during and after our visit was very much appreciated.
Our little boy loved the bunk beds and especially the games console as we don't have one at home and my mum appreciated having her own 'wing' of the condo. The view from the balcony was a fantastic place to spot wildlife or to simply sit, relax and take in the Gulf air.
Having been to Anna Maria Island many times before, Indian Shores was another equally stunning part of the Gulf where we found plenty of superb places to eat, drink and relax on a peaceful uncrowded beach. We saw dolphins from the pier and even a manatee from the beach.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mariner’s Pointe to my family and friends looking for a trip to Florida.
Patrik and Eva, once again thank you so much for a wonderful holiday in your amazing Condo.
This was our second year at this condo, and we were, once again, very impressed. The beach is just minutes away and is not very crowded. The pool is a nice break from the beach, and we used it daily (not to mention we were the only ones occupying the pool each day--added bonus!). Like last year, we saw dolphins in the harbor as we were fishing off the pier. Indian Shores is such a great area with many restaurants and attractions nearby without being too "touristy."
I definitely recommend booking this condo for anyone visiting the area. We plan on returning to Patrik and Eva's condo in the future for a third stay!
Than you Patrik and Eva for sharing your beautiful condo with us.
We had a great week in Indian shores, and we found everything we needed in your home. The condo is better than in the pictures, very good decorated and a lot of space for the four of us, our boys are 22 and 18 years old. We appreciate all the information that Patrik sent to us and it was very easy to communicate with him.
Although the weather was not perfect since it rained a lot, your home was great to relax. We loved Salvador Dali -Museum in St. Petersburg, we highly recommend it to everyone loves art.
We definitely recomend it and will come back.

Patrick & Ava's place is fantastic! Plenty of room and very well stocked. I stayed with my husband, our 2 year old son and my Mom flew into Tampa airport and met us. Only 30 minutes from the airport which made picking her up a breeze. We loved the bunk bed in the master, it was great for our little one who isn't used to sleeping in strange places. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, nice view! The beach gear in the garage was great to have, such a nice touch. I would stay here again in a heart-beat!
