Exactly What We Needed!
Our family loved the house. It was everything we were looking for in a vacation rental. Plenty of room in the house. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms made the stay worry-free. There was also ample wood for campfire, full propane tank on grill, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats to use on the lake. Tanglewood is a short drive (15 minutes) away. Diana and Henry were also exceptionally helpful with suggestions about the local area. I'm sure we will return.
Everything we hoped for and more
Really clean, accommodating, boats, big yard for lawn games. Great little lake. Had 2 delicious dinners in Lee and Pittsfield nearby. Beautiful view from 2 decks.
Very Nice Place
This is a very nice house in a great location. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean. We rented the place to ice fish and we had great success.
The only drawback is the lack of seclusion of the house. The house is attached to the office, people live on the first floor, and the driveway is shared with the motel. For us not a big deal as we only really use the house to cook supper and sleep as we were on the ice for majority of the day.
Everything was perfect. We had a wonderful time and relaxing experience. the lake was beautiful. The rental owners were awesome
Amazing vacation Lodge
We loved our stay at the Lakeside Lodge over the Columbus Day weekend. We shared it with two other couples. The Lodge is very roomy, comfortable as well as very clean. Everything we needed was there. We especially loved the amazing customer service displayed by both Diana & Michelle. They were so helpful and very courteous. We are definitely returning for the Columbus Day weekend next year. The pictures on the website are very accurate. There is so many activities to do around this location. We highly recommend the Norman Rockwell Museum.
My husband & I celebrate our anniversary in the Bershires every year and we are so pleased that we found the perfect Lodge.
I returned home and recommended this place to all my friends. We had a group of 9 coming from all over, with this as the meetup location. The lake was still frozen, but the big yard provided plenty of room for lawn games and activities. The Appalachian trail cuts right by the backyard. Everything is stocked; wood for the woodstove, gas for the grill, bedding galore, board games, cable, dishes. I plan to come back in the spring and use the boats.
Located in Becket, near Lee, MA exit (2) off of I-90.
Other Activities: Boating, Antiquing, Festivals, Farmers Markets, October Mountain State Park, walk to Appalachian Trail.
