Welcome to fun in the sun in beautiful and sunny Mission Beach, California! We are located just steps to the warm waters of Mission Bay and the beautiful blue surf of the Pacific Ocean!
824 Ormond is a beautiful, sun-filled three-story home with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a spacious patio (shared with one other unit). Our family friendly beach town-home with its bay and ocean views is just a 15 second walk from the bay and a minute from the ocean! Located in the heart of Mission Beach, it is within easy walking distance to great local restaurants, shops as well as to the Mission Bay Aquatic Center.
3 story home - First level: The first floor offers a nice shared patio area with a gas grill and comfortable seating. This area is perfect for warm summer nights or just relaxing during the day while the little ones nap inside! The first level also features two bedrooms. One room offers a queen bed and has tile flooring and French doors that open up to the patio area, the other offers a twin and a double bed and has wood flooring. This area also features a bathroom and a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, sink and plenty of cabinets.
3 story home - Second level: The second floor offers a beautiful light and comfortable living and dining area (with window AC), a balcony as well as bathroom and a remodeled fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops. The kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots and pans, all utensils and everything you will need for your family meals! The spacious living area offers two queen-size sofa sleepers allowing this home to comfortably accommodate up to ten guests (perfect for multi-family vacations)! There is satellite TV, DVD, and a stereo for your convenience. This middle level with its open floor plan is extremely bright and airy. Lots of windows make this home let in the sea air and the sun - perfect for your vacation! The balcony is a perfect place for sipping your morning coffee and relaxing to the quiet serenity of the 'bay-side of life”.
3 story home - Third level and parking: The top floor is a fabulous master bedroom suite with wood flooring and a private 100 sq.ft. balcony viewing Mission Bay. Don’t miss our famous Sea World’s nightly fireworks display. The master bedroom also has two skylights and bright, light décor. This room offers wall AC, a queen-size bedroom set, two closets and a full bath with tub and shower.
Parking, which is at a premium in Mission Beach, is no problem with our two-car tandem garage. It measures approximately 7.10' W X 30' D X 7' H. For those of you with SUVs, please verify your car’s dimensions as we do not have alternate parking! There is also a full-size washer and dryer located in the garage.
Fans, linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, pack n play and a high chair are provided for your convenience.
We loved our stay at this house. Very nice, clean and spacious. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony and barbeque on the patio. Great location – next to the bay and the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants. Very good management, very easy to deal with. We hope to come back next year!
We arrived and found the place in very good shape. The location is great, a couple steps to the beach and the bay. It is only a short walk to the little shops, beach rental places and restaurants. The house is very spacious and convenient.
The service has been great and everyone has gone above and beyond to make sure that our stay was effortless and amazing. Highly recommend both the property and the people that operate it.

The service what they offer and the contact with the agency is absolutly great. The check-in as well as the check-out was easy and quick. The facility itself is clean and in good condition. Even the BBQ is super clean and well maintained. Cool is that the front side of the house hits just a pedestrian walkway and not a street so you can hang out for a nice dinner.
We really enjoyed staying in this house. The location is great, fourth house from the bay and one short block from the beach. The house is full of amenities and everything we needed! Boogie boards, scooter, beach chairs, ice chest, beach towels etc. The area restaurants are all within a short walk of the place, which was nice too. The owners take good care of this house and provide great hospitality. Nicole was great with the providing a lot of information for our stay, answering questions and making suggestions. We would highly recommend this house and when we come back to California, this is where we will stay!!
Our extended family of 10 stayed at this beach house for a week. We all really enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable there. Having 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms was great with 4 teenagers. Couldn't ask for a better location and nicer place. The house is very close to the bay, ocean, restaurants, and shopping. All the extra amenities made the vacation even more enjoyable - like beach chairs & towels, boogie boards, etc. We would highly recommend this house and when we come back to California, this is where we will stay!!
This property has a great set up for multiple families. Large main living area. Very close to Bay and Oceanside beaches. Kitchen was very well equipped. We will definitely stay here again!
Mission Bay Park is set up for a range of activities that make it fun for both kids and adults; swimming, skating, bicycling, kayaking, jet skiing and water skiing, or just relaxing on the beach. You can also take some sailing lessons, rent a boat, or play golf or tennis.
This water wonderland also features free parking, great playgrounds, picnic sites, barbecues, and basketball and volleyball courts. Plus, it is minutes from the airport, Mission Valley shopping, and San Diego’s new and exciting downtown.
You are also freeway-close for day trips to Sea World, Legoland, the Wild Animal Park and the world famous San Diego Zoo; all ten to thirty minutes away.

Please note that although we do consider renting our homes for 4 (four) nights during the off season, we may require up to 7 (seven) nights in some cases depending on demand and/or how the dates fit into the calendar.
