Just returned from a week vacation in London with an old friend and had a lovely stay in this Chelsea flat. The hosts were gracious. The apartment met our needs. It did take a few days to figure out the best way to get to and from the flat to appropriate bus, tube and hop on/off stops. We had to be mindful of too much walking as we both have some physical problems. Finally figured out the right bus that is a five minute walk and connected to a good tube stop (Victoria Station). There is also a small but good market next to that bus stop and that was useful. Next trip I would add my cell phone navigation - would make getting lost a lot easier to deal with! The single beds in the bedroom were pretty good. The shower was great. Internet a little on and off, but sufficient. I loved my brief visits with Ted and Marie-Francoise and their dogs. Made it feel a bit like having family around, but they were also respectful of our privacy. I would recommend this flat.
This was our 4th trip to London and we've stayed with Ted and MF every time! We love the location, the homey feeling of the suite and the hospitality of our hosts. We've had a very relaxing and enjoyable visit each and every time. Do not hesitate to book here. You can walk to King's Road for shopping and food and catching the underground or bus. Convenience is wonderful! We are probably returning for our 5th visit this upcoming year and would not consider staying anywhere else in London.
Amazing place to stay! The photos are completely accurate. Ted responded quickly and continued to make suggestions for our trip. We felt completely safe walking around, day and night. Very easy access to Sloan (15 min walk) or Victoria (20 min walk) Underground stations. Grocery stores are 10-15 min walk. If I ever make it back to London, I will try and book Ted and Francoise's apartment. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Ted and Francoise ( and the dogs) are warm and welcoming.
The apartment is just as you see it in the photos and located in a central but quiet street. Its just a short stroll to the Kings Road , where shopping, museums and galleries abound. Its an easy commute to the centre of London via bus or train. I found more than enough to keep me occupied in the Chelsea area though.
Gordon Ramsays restaurant is literally 3 minutes around the corner, and always worth a visit.
The apartment was warm, super comfortable and had everything and more that you could possibly need.
Ted, very kindly took us for an interesting drive around one morning and showed me many things that I hadn't seen before, then dropped us at Oxford street for yet more shopping..
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there on my next visit to London
This apartment is in a nice area of Chelsea close to lots of restaurants and interesting pubs. It's a great area to walk around in. The Tube is about a 10 minute walk and from there the whole city is accessible.
Ted and Francoise were very accommodating and the airport pickup and drop off was nice in that we didn't have to sort out finding the place on arrival.
The cosy apartment, with electric fireplace, is roomy, comfortable and well located near a grocer and a pub. A short walk to the tube. The hosts, Ted and Francoise, could not be more accommodating. Look forward to our next visit.
