Amazing place to stay! The photos are completely accurate. Ted responded quickly and continued to make suggestions for our trip. We felt completely safe walking around, day and night. Very easy access to Sloan (15 min walk) or Victoria (20 min walk) Underground stations. Grocery stores are 10-15 min walk. If I ever make it back to London, I will try and book Ted and Francoise's apartment. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic place to stay. Ted and Francoise ( and the dogs) are warm and welcoming.
The apartment is just as you see it in the photos and located in a central but quiet street. Its just a short stroll to the Kings Road , where shopping, museums and galleries abound. Its an easy commute to the centre of London via bus or train. I found more than enough to keep me occupied in the Chelsea area though.
Gordon Ramsays restaurant is literally 3 minutes around the corner, and always worth a visit.
The apartment was warm, super comfortable and had everything and more that you could possibly need.
Ted, very kindly took us for an interesting drive around one morning and showed me many things that I hadn't seen before, then dropped us at Oxford street for yet more shopping..
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there on my next visit to London
This apartment is in a nice area of Chelsea close to lots of restaurants and interesting pubs. It's a great area to walk around in. The Tube is about a 10 minute walk and from there the whole city is accessible.
Ted and Francoise were very accommodating and the airport pickup and drop off was nice in that we didn't have to sort out finding the place on arrival.
The cosy apartment, with electric fireplace, is roomy, comfortable and well located near a grocer and a pub. A short walk to the tube. The hosts, Ted and Francoise, could not be more accommodating. Look forward to our next visit.
We arrived at Heathrow at 7 a.m. and Ted was waiting for us, making it ever so nice not to have to worry about transporting ourselves to the apartment. The next day, he took us on a tour of food markets in the East End, at our request. The apartment is very comfortable and cozy, more a home than a sterile hotel or even an apartment hotel would be. Located quite near the Sloane Square Tube station, it is also possible to take the #19 or #11 bus to central London near all the sights, as Ted told us these buses would. Waitrose is not far away and Partridge's as well. We also discovered an M&S, too. We would stay here again, no problem. Ted and Francoise and their dogs made us feel right at home, and Ted went out of us way to help when we had a sudden change of plans due to an accident while traveling in another part of England. Ted also gave us a lot of hints about how to maneuver in London aside from the buses. Really excellent arrangement and very fairly priced.
Nice apartment in a lovely quiet part of Chelsea. Close to 170 Bus (3mins walk) and about 6 mins to no 11 Bus in Kings Road. There is a small Tesco supermarket about 2 mins away. Onsite owner showed how everything worked in the apartment on arrival.
Located in the heart of old Chelsea. One of the most desirable areas of central London. Lots of restaurants including Gordon Ramsey flagship only a few minutes away. The Victoria and Albert museum, Science Museum, Natural History museum are twenty minutes walk. All are free entry. Harrods Department Store is close to these museums.
