Why The Owner chose Falmouth

Falmouth has so many things to offer above and beyond it's beautiful beaches. There are lakes, shell fishing, biking paths along the ocean, local ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, great restaurants, and shopping. There is something for everyone. You can do everything, or nothing at all.

Great stay

  • 4 of 5

Had a great trip . Close to the golf courses and located on a nice peaceful road. The house was big and clean and would go back again.

Way better than a hotel !!!

  • 4 of 5

The house was clean and well equipped. Stairs to second floor a bit noisy. There weren't racks to hang wet towels after showers which was tricky for 6 people. Coffee maker didn't work too well.

The owner needs to update information on neighborhood pond/beach areas as we found them inexcessable when we walked with our grandchildren to check them out.

The location was perfect for our family wedding so we were able to get to our events quickly and easily on this busy Memorial Day weekend. We would stay here again.

Clean, quiet, comfy, super-roomy

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four frequent travelers and VRBO-ers. We stayed two nights here as part of a coastal New England vacation. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. The village of Falmouth - with GREAT restaurants - is just a couple of minutes' drive. No air conditioning in the house, but we were comfortable- lots of fans throughout. Very well outfitted kitchen. A ton of beach towels and beach toys/cooler/chairs, etc. basement is unfinished, but stocked with the beach stuff, washer/dryer, and lots of bikes. Most of the bikes do need mechanical attention, so when we took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, we chose to rent bikes on the island rather than risk a mechanical breakdown. Beds are comfortable. Charming decor - feels like Grandma's beach house. Due to location, I would not stay at the house without a car.

Clean, quiet, comfy - charming interior

  • 5 of 5

This house would accommodate a big crowd! Very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has truly everything you could possibly want/need. House is very clean. LOTS of extra beach towels. Full size washer and dryer in the unfinished basement is super handy. Beach chairs and sand toys for everyone (stocked up in the basement). There are also a lot of bikes in the basement, but most need mechanical attention. We ended up renting bikes (after taking ferry to Martha's Vineyard) because we didn't want to risk getting stranded anywhere. The "downtown" village of Falmouth is really lovely - just a quick drive away. Great restaurants. No a/c in the house - but in mid-June we were very comfortable without it. Lots of floor fans throughout the house. I would not stay at this house without a car.

Housing for large family

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the house when my son got married in Mashpee. It was a lot cheaper than a hotel, clean, had plenty of room and the home owners were available by phone. The owners tried to think of everything... cable TV, board games, bikes, pink pong table, washer/ dryer, etc. The only thing missing was internet (wi fi).

Perfect home for an enjoyable stay on the cape

  • 5 of 5

A lovely home in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Falmouth. Not too far from the nearest beach and to the supermarkets.

Rooms are a good size and the split living room is a good touch if you have a bigger family. Kitchen is well equipped and the laundry facilities in the basement come in handy as do the table tennis and darts board!

Overall, I would recommend this house as it offers very good value and has all the essentials and comforts.
