Play a game of whiffle ball or baseball or fly a kite overlooking Vineyard Sound.
This home is located less than 1.5 miles to the Island Queen where you can take a 30 minute ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard where you could easily spend the day. Take in a Cape Cod Baseball League Game and enjoy Thursday Night Town Band Concerts at the Harbor!

There is so much more to do and see in Falmouth to make a perfectly memorable Cape Cod vacation.
Falmouth has so many things to offer above and beyond it's beautiful beaches. There are lakes, shell fishing, biking paths along the ocean, local ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, great restaurants, and shopping. There is something for everyone. You can do everything, or nothing at all.
We are a family of four frequent travelers and VRBO-ers. We stayed two nights here as part of a coastal New England vacation. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood. The village of Falmouth - with GREAT restaurants - is just a couple of minutes' drive. No air conditioning in the house, but we were comfortable- lots of fans throughout. Very well outfitted kitchen. A ton of beach towels and beach toys/cooler/chairs, etc. basement is unfinished, but stocked with the beach stuff, washer/dryer, and lots of bikes. Most of the bikes do need mechanical attention, so when we took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, we chose to rent bikes on the island rather than risk a mechanical breakdown. Beds are comfortable. Charming decor - feels like Grandma's beach house. Due to location, I would not stay at the house without a car.
This house would accommodate a big crowd! Very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen has truly everything you could possibly want/need. House is very clean. LOTS of extra beach towels. Full size washer and dryer in the unfinished basement is super handy. Beach chairs and sand toys for everyone (stocked up in the basement). There are also a lot of bikes in the basement, but most need mechanical attention. We ended up renting bikes (after taking ferry to Martha's Vineyard) because we didn't want to risk getting stranded anywhere. The "downtown" village of Falmouth is really lovely - just a quick drive away. Great restaurants. No a/c in the house - but in mid-June we were very comfortable without it. Lots of floor fans throughout the house. I would not stay at this house without a car.
We stayed at the house when my son got married in Mashpee. It was a lot cheaper than a hotel, clean, had plenty of room and the home owners were available by phone. The owners tried to think of everything... cable TV, board games, bikes, pink pong table, washer/ dryer, etc. The only thing missing was internet (wi fi).
A lovely home in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Falmouth. Not too far from the nearest beach and to the supermarkets.
Rooms are a good size and the split living room is a good touch if you have a bigger family. Kitchen is well equipped and the laundry facilities in the basement come in handy as do the table tennis and darts board!
Overall, I would recommend this house as it offers very good value and has all the essentials and comforts.
House was clean and comfortable. Owner responded quickly to all emails/text messages.
We spent 3 weeks travelling USA in July 2012 and stayed in this house for 1 week. It was a great location with everything one needs for a great holiday and our children 3 teenagers and 2 younger children enjoyed the bikes and cycling to the water front. We thought we would travel further anlong Cape Cod but we Irish were tired of travelling and the car so we had plenty to entertain us locally with Woods Hole and Marthas Vineyard . I really loved this house and the kitchen was so well equipped for our large family of 7. We would love to stay again but this was really a once off trip unfortunately!!. Many thanks
