Missoula House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Situated on the Clark Fork river the Riverhouse is a fully equipped home for your vacation fun. All the amenities needed to fully relax and enjoy the beauty of Montana. Each of the bedrooms has a queen size bed. A bunk room that has two double beds. Private and secluded down a private road that leads right to the river. Fishing right out the door. Deer, moose, eagles, bear, river otter, beavers as your backyard friends. Guided float trips can be arranged with one of several local outfitters.

A perfect spot to get together for that yearly family vacation. A great spot to bring friends together to catch up and spend time getting away from it all. Five manicured acres and over 600 feet of riverfront with a fire pit to build your campfires. During the winter enjoy pristine cross country skiing or snowshoeing right out the backdoor.

Sit out on the deck enjoying Montana's long beautiful summer evenings. Stay warm around the gas fire pit and listen to the music of the owls while counting the millions of stars that light the night sky.

The beautiful city of Missoula is just 7 miles away. Don't miss the famous Saturday Farmers Market where the whole city turns out to enjoy the fresh flowers, produce, street music, and hand made items too numerous to mention. Missoula has a number of excellent restaurants to enjoy, or just plan on staying in and barbequing on the back deck with the gas or charcoal grill provided.

Canyon River Golf Course, less than five minutes from the house, was rated in the top five US new public courses in 2007. Five mile walking trail right down the drive.

This is a non-smoking rental.

Beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We were there for our daughter's graduation and could not have asked for a better place to stay. It is only 10 minutes from Missoula. We enjoyed the river and the scenery. The house had everything we needed.

We hope to go back in the future.

Had a wonderful time.

  • 5 of 5

The house was great. It was clean and well appointed. Todd and Marta are so nice and my granddaughter loved their dogs. We spent the evenings playing games and sitting around the fire pit. I can't wait for our next visit.

New Years Eve from San Diego

  • 5 of 5

We had an awesome stay at the cabin the week of New Years Eve. The scenery was beautiful with all the powdery snow. Short walk to the River. Marta and Todd were great hosts... They even let us borrow ski's for some cross county skiing. Fully equipped kitchen to make meals. The price was very fair... I would recommend the Secluded Clark Fork Riverhouse to anyone visiting Montana. We were visiting our daughter who attends the University of Montana. It's only about 8 miles to Missoula.

Awesome setting

  • 5 of 5

This house is located within in walking distance to the Clark Fork River. Very beautiful location. The men enjoyed fishing and even caught a few. Marta and Todd were very accommodating. There were home made cookies waiting for us when we arrived.

Beautiful property!!

  • 5 of 5

I am not sure what questions someone would have about this property's location after reading the description and reviewing the pictures. The pictures are, and description is, totally accurate. Todd and Marta are great people. They are readily available if you want something while, at the same time, can be totally absent if you prefer. Access to the river is an easy three minute walk through the property. We had a great time: fly fishing, grilling out suppers, relaxing around the super convenient propane fire pit - reading, talking, roasting marshmallows, oh yeah, and consuming a few beers. The house is not far from the interstate, but you feel very secluded on the property. Being close to the interstate allowed us to run into Missoula easily, plus, offered fast access to some great sight seeing. We spent a day in Couer d'alene (2.5 hr drive one way) and another day at Flathead Lake. Bitterrroot Valley is a beautiful valley and the Bitterroot river offers more great fishing. The house itself is comfortable, well stocked, has good cell service, tv reception, and internet - if you want to take the time for those types of things..... Rent this house. I don't think you will have anything to complain about! Be sure to check out Poor Henry's Bar for some very good food and friendly folks! It is just up the frontage road, near Clinton.

Gear down from wedding/gear up for Griz against NDSU

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful home, setting and amazing hosts. Todd & Marta are so friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy family & friends and get ready for the big game. We will definitely be repeat renters, actually very soon. Bentley & Rudy (our beloved labs) loved it just as much as we did. They played to their hearts content and swam in the river as much as they wanted.
