This beautifully decorated, family and pet friendly villa is located on the eleventh hole of the Ocean Winds Golf Course on Seabrook Island. Relax on one of the three decks or fish and crab in the lagoon in your backyard. An open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, new cabinets and countertops, hardwood flooring and carpeting complete this terrific Sealoft. This home has just had additional renovations!
The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached full bathroom and a deck for enjoying your morning coffee. There is a queen bed in the second bedroom and a hall bath accessible from this bedroom. The upstair bedroom is fully enclosed offering privacy for your guest. This is one of the only Sealofts that has enclosed the loft and it has the added bonus of a new full bath with a shower upstairs. This room is great for the kids. There are two twin beds plus a trundle, a TV/DVD and a deck. The house sleeps seven comfortably. There is also a private outside shower to wash away the sand after a day at the beach.
The Sealoft neighborhood pool is just steps from the front door. A boardwalk to the beach is across from Sealoft Drive and Seabrook Island Road, making it an easy walk to a very uncrowded section of beach. The boardwalk is approximately 5 minutes from the house. The boardwalks at Seabrook are long due to the protected dune areas. It is about 5-8 minutes down the boardwalk to the beach.
940 Sealoft is pet friendly! Your favorite four legged dog is invited to join in on the fun! (Pet fee is $150/wk ($250/mth))
Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club, are included in the rent. These cards give you access to the oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage.
This is a great location to get away from it all with family and friends!

The house was clean and well-equipped, and we were so pleased that we were able to have our pooch with us. Despite the fact that the house is pet-friendly, there were absolutely no signs of that - no stains, no smell - so that was nice! The porch furniture was a little mismatched throughout the porches, but that, of course, was not a big deal! We just moved it around to suit us, and we really enjoyed both of the bedroom patios for cocktails and breakfasts all week! I loved that there were so many little details that had been thought of and were made available to us - bottle openers (we loved the little blue plastic shark-handled one and took it to the beach in our cooler everyday!), koozies, all necessary kitchen utensils - even some Tupperware containers, beach reads, plenty of hangers in the closets, etc. Those little things make a big difference, to be honest! I also loved reading and writing in the guest book - a fun touch! Oh - and the outdoor shower was quite helpful - especially having the dog! Probably the ONLY thing we were wishing was different about the house was that there was a covered porch or screened in porch, and that is because it rained a bit almost every day, and we would have liked to not have to be inside for that!
Also, I loved that FreshFields shopping area was SO well stocked.... Chez fish provided delicious, fresh, local seafood that we made back at the house. The beach is SUPER peaceful - not crammed w/ people everywhere. The entire island is laid back - a fun and VERY relaxing place to be!!
We along with our dog and two other couples had a WONDERFUL 4th of July at this condo. The home is light and airy inside with lots of kitchen extras, comfortable beds, and a nice entertainment center (stereo, ipod dock, tv, etc). One couple shared the room with twin beds--we just pushed them together. The other two couples were each in the two masters. We used their bikes and took them all over Seabrook. We also enjoyed the small neighborhood pool as well as the bigger pool at the Seabrook Island Club (the condo comes with an amenity card so you can get into the big pool). Also loved grilling out!
The beach is a bit of a hike. Not too too far, but it might have felt far if we'd had lots of little kids and kids beach gear. It is approximately one quarter mile from the condo out of the sea loft "community" to the start of the board walk and then one quarter mile down the board walk to the sand. (Seabrook Island beach walkways are all long!). But the beach was worth it! Seabrook beach is gorgeous and even with it being 4th of July weekend it was not very crowded.
Nancy (the owner) was wonderful--we booked with short notice and it was easy. I filled out a form and emailed it back to her and then we were given a punch code to get the front door key out of a lockbox.
We HIGHLY recommend this condo!
