Loft on Lombard is beautifully furnished and meticulously maintained. The bedroom area has a queen sized bed with foam padding, a fluffy down comforter, and plenty of pillows to assure a peaceful and sound night’s sleep. There is a terrific window seat, plush and cozy, that frames the window and views. The kitchen is contemporary and state of the art. It is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances, Ceasarstone countertops, and a breakfast bar area for enjoying that morning cup of coffee. The living room has contemporary furnishings, and there are lots of books and art to make you feel at home. With ample closets and storage, all you need to bring is your suitcase and toothbrush!
Loft on Lombard is your perfect pied-a-terre: safe, close to everything, bright, clean, quiet, well-appointed. And you’ll have access to all the luxuries of Parc Telegraph, including underground, secure parking for one car (of moderate size), a large European-style gymnasium, hot tub, sauna, 24-hour security personnel, a beautiful lobby and common areas (interior and exterior) that will make you feel you are staying in a five star property. All this at rates much lower than similarly appointed hotels. PLEASE NOTE: There is no refund for cancellations made within 60 days of arrival.

We've owned this property since the building was constructed and lived there ourselves for 2 years. The historic North Waterfront neighborhood is our favorite in the City because it's quiet and close to everything. We visit often and will make sure your stay in our pied-a-terre is as pleasant for you as it is for us.

Lovely apartment, with everything you could ever need for a stay in San Fran. In a very quiet and ideal location - everything is in very each reach - Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Union Square, etc. From initial enquiry to booking process & arrival - everything ran very smoothly and the owner always answered emails & queries very efficiently and promptly. We would certainly recommend to all.
The unit was very nice, modern and well-maintained. Rick was very easy to communicate with via e-mail and phone. The location was perfect for our family. An easy 2 block walk to the Embarcadero, where you can catch the "F" line bus or hire one of the many rickshaw drivers. There was a nice map in the unit that showed a cute local market, and directions to the nearest Safeway (grocery store). If you enjoy food you should make sure to go to the Ferry Building.
Another reviewer had mentioned the compact parking spot. We rented a Toyota Camry. Everyone but the driver would get out of the car and help direct the driver into the spot. A minivan would probably not fit. Still, it is a great advantage to have available parking at no additional charge!

Thanks Rick & Ken! What a spectacular & clean place! We felt like we were right in the middle of all the action. The condo made us feel at home and within steps of all the tourist attractions. We would pick a direction and voila! If you are here on a Sat, Tue, or Thur, do not miss the Farmer's Market at the Ferry Building, what a delight of fresh food and samples from vendors. I loved the smoked salmon baguette and fresh organic peaches. On Sunday check out Off the Grid, a community picnic gathering with lots of food trucks 11a-4p. Then head over to Land's End and Sutro Baths, breathtaking. We also did the Alcatraz tour. All tours offer complimentary audio tours, which take you back in time to the Alcatraz highlights. If you're into craft beers check out Rogue Brewery on Union St. If you're tech savvy download the Lyft app, local pre-screened drivers with pink mustaches on their cars to take you wherever you need to go at cheaper rates than cabs. We bought our groceries at Safeway, and the bags were thick enough for the walk home. Yes, the bed is super comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was in a prime location and was in a nice, quiet area. The hosts saw to it that everything was in great working order. There were even toiletries in the bathroom just in case something was forgotten at home. Rick even recommended a great Thai place for dinner one night. Also, this place had THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED I think I have ever slept in! The property was wonderful, location was wonderful, and hosts were wonderful. Nothing bad to say about our stay here. Great place and great location. Elevator building with a free parking space and free large washer and dryer across hall. Great mattress (unlike most places!) and clean, bright and well-equipped. The only item perhaps not good for disabled is bathtub, but one floor in an elevator building makes it easy for those not inclined to like stairs. Would recommend to any couple, or family with two children (on sofa bed in living room). Rick and Ken couldn't be easier to deal with. Very quick to reply and answer questions and make sure we got in the apartment and all was well. Great restaurants nearby, as well as a market 1 1/2 blocks away to stock the fridge if you want to eat in. Starbucks also 1 1/2 blocks away. Many good new restaurants along the Embarcadero.
We just completed our second two month stay in this lovely apartment. All the wonderful comments about The Loft on Lombard are true. It is a beautiful, clean space with a delightful bay view from the cozy window seat. The location is ideal. It is a short flat walk to restaurants , supermarkets, Fisherman’s Wharf, The Embarcadero, The Ferry Building and Muni transportation for visiting the rest of the City. It comes fully equipped and is tastefully furnished. Rick and Ken are always just a phone call away and they are wonderful to deal with. We loved our stay.
