Conveniently located in the Historic Westside of Colorado Springs, within minutes of I-25 and Hwy 24, Downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs and the Broadmoor, this new home is air conditioned with four bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens 1 dble), 3.5 baths. The home is professionally decorated in a comfortable country style with a garden level walkout. Additional beds include a day bed in the family room (2 twins) and sleeper sofas in both the Living Room and Family Room. All beds new Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses.
It has 2 parking spots in the driveway, as well as off-sight parking for two additional vehicles/trailers/RVs in the rear. The fenced back yard has a concrete patio with a gas BBQ and dining table and chairs and a fire pit with chairs (when allowed by city ordinance). A deck off the living room has a view of Pikes Peak with comfortable seating. There are TVs and DVDs in both the Living Room and Family Room and a game room in the garage with ping pong table, foosball, poker table, dart board and a cabinet full of games, as well as, a game closet upstairs by the bedrooms. Lots of books and 2 to 6 bicycles available (must be reserved in advance) for riding the local bike paths within minutes of the home.
This is a great place to stay for any age, any size group, and any purpose in CO! There is so much in the house to keep you engaged and entertained while inside... TVs, board games, pool table, Texas Hold 'Em table, outdoor fire ring, outdoor grill, etc! The accommodations are great, kitchen well equipped, and plenty of bathrooms. It is also a great location and very close to Garden of Gods and Manitou Springs. The best part is that Joanne is a wonderful host and great to work with! She will definitely make sure your stay is the best it can be! Thanks Joanne!
The pictures on the website do not show how much S P A C E this place has!! We have 4 kids ages 11, 12, 12, and 14 and this was our first "real" family vacation. We will never be able to stay in a hotel room again!
Joanne was wonderful to work with she was full of local information and was flexible with our driving schedule.
The location was perfect close to several attractions and downtown. The multiple bathrooms enabled everyone to get ready simultaneously and the kitchen/grill/firepit saved us a ton of money on restaurants!
We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and were very comfortable. It is well equipped and the kids really enjoyed the pool table, etc. Nice kitchen and grill which we used and the house is bigger than it looks from the pictures. The location was very convenient to Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods.
From the time we began our communication with the homeowner to the time we received our deposit back was very pleasant and professional. They worked with us on our budget since we were bringing kids from a non-profit. The home is in a perfect location to be able to get to all the "must see" places around Colorado Springs! The home was very well appointed and felt like home! There were even times when we chose to stay there and hang out instead of go out on the town! Everything was just great!!! Hopefully our vacation plans in the future will include another stay at this VRBO!!!
This was a very nice place to stay. The home was clean and very well stocked with bedding, dishes, etc. We even were able to barbeque outside on a very nice gas grill. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to stay in the Colorado Springs area.
Our host was very nice, pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed having all of the extra space. With three teenagers, we needed to be able to give everyone their own space. The home was comfortable and had all of the amenities that we needed. It was clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Having internet is essential to my husband's business and it worked flawlessly.
There are only two things I would change about our experience. I would add black-out curtains to the master bedroom. We like to sleep in darkness and the sun and exterior lighting made sleeping in a bit challenging. Additionally, I would have preferred a few extra towels be available. As I prefer to use a body towel and another for my hair since it is longer. Both minor and in no way would prevent me from recommending this home to others.

$250 security/damage deposit plus the signed contract and rules are necessary to book a reservation. Final payment is due 60 days in advance of arrival. Checks made out to Manitou Vacation Homes, LLC and mailed to 195 Glen Dale Dr., Woodland Park, CO 80863.
