About Alisa Esh

Jake and Becky and their nine children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived their until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard. Jake's parents live next door and maintain a lot of the home and it's grounds. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a wonderful vacation we had at your guest house! Thanks so much for sharing it with our family of #11 plus one on the way. The house and yard were fully adequate. We enjoyed the tether ball, butterfly garden, sandbox, campfire, and climbing tree in the backyard. Couples enjoyed the swing on the front porch. This location is great! I hope to return.

God really blessed us through you and your family. One of our families went to the "Joseph" show. I have seen it twice. Steve has seen it once.

May God continue to wonderfully bless you and your family,

Excellent place for the price!!!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the stay. This property has lot of gaming stuff (corn bag, table tennis...) which was actually not listed in the property details.

It also has a huge backyard for the outdoor activities. Will definitely visit one more time in summer.

Fabulous house

  • 5 of 5

Exceptionally well equipped house and met our needs exactly.

Very clean and warm which was needed due to weather being in the minuses.

We hired the house due to our daughter getting married in Strasburg.Managed to house 12 adults at varying times of the week very comfortably.Plenty of space to allow us to get ready for the wedding.

This perfect house helped to make the week a memorable one for all

Many thanks

Very pleasurable experience at Harvest Dr house and Amish country

  • 5 of 5

We had a party of 8 adults, 2 seniors, and 2 little kids staying at the guest house around new year for 4 days. The house was clean and spacious, and lots of little items stocked up (e.g. linens, towels, garbage bags, etc) which I did not find in many vacation homes I stayed earlier. Had no issues whatsoever, right from the day of the booking. It snowed one night, and as we got out with the shovels, the host (or his brother) arrived with a cleaning truck and we together cleaned off in no time. Had a great time chatting with the host/parents who live right next door. We also enjoyed shopping at the nearby Amish country village shops, including some large pieces of furniture! Overall - a great pleasurable experience.

Great location, nice people, clean home, room to play

  • 5 of 5

We just spent our Christmas long-weekend at the Harvest Drive Guest House. We had kids with asthma who had no problems with mold or dust - so you know it is clean. We had a teen and a couple pre-teens who wanted to play ping-pong, football outside, and Foosball in the basement. We had 7 adults who just wanted to drink coffee and get caught up on the year gone-by. The kitchen is roomy, the table expands to easily handle 12, the living room is large enough for everyone to gather Christmas eve, sing and have fun together. We would stay again without question, Thanks to Alisa and the Esh clan for a great home for families!
