About Alisa Esh

Jake and Becky and their nine children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived their until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard. Jake's parents live next door and maintain a lot of the home and it's grounds. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a wonderful vacation we had at your guest house! Thanks so much for sharing it with our family of #11 plus one on the way. The house and yard were fully adequate. We enjoyed the tether ball, butterfly garden, sandbox, campfire, and climbing tree in the backyard. Couples enjoyed the swing on the front porch. This location is great! I hope to return.

God really blessed us through you and your family. One of our families went to the "Joseph" show. I have seen it twice. Steve has seen it once.

May God continue to wonderfully bless you and your family,

Great location, nice people, clean home, room to play

  • 5 of 5

We just spent our Christmas long-weekend at the Harvest Drive Guest House. We had kids with asthma who had no problems with mold or dust - so you know it is clean. We had a teen and a couple pre-teens who wanted to play ping-pong, football outside, and Foosball in the basement. We had 7 adults who just wanted to drink coffee and get caught up on the year gone-by. The kitchen is roomy, the table expands to easily handle 12, the living room is large enough for everyone to gather Christmas eve, sing and have fun together. We would stay again without question, Thanks to Alisa and the Esh clan for a great home for families!

Would recommend this house.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 8 adults and 2 kids thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the Harvest Drive Guest house. The space is so well laid out, the rooms are all a nice size, the kids had a great space to play in the basement and the scenery/farmland surrounding the property was beautiful. Will likely be visiting again.

Perfect for old and young.

The house is huge and there were only 5 of us women but we loved it so much that we hope to stay there next year when we return to Lancaster for our annual trip.

Great home and location.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the opportunity to stay in this very nice home with the room we needed for ourselves and our children and their children! It was very comfortable and even though we were not there long enough to enjoy same - there was a great game room and plenty of games to play together with a wonderful yard. This was in a great location and not on a busy road. The owner was very pleasant to work with! We hope to return in the future.

Just what we needed

  • 5 of 5

We met up with another family and had lots of room to stay in the home. The toy room in the basement and ping pong table were well used. I couldn't believe how many leaves there were for the table. It was great for the group of us.

The location was very picturesque. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the porch and enjoying the peace and the view. Not too far from Lancaster. Bird in Hand and intercourse are basically around the corner to shops and restaurants.

Relaxing weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our short weekend getaway. It comfortably slept 4 families which included 6 adults and 6 children. The finished basement with toys and the swingset outside were perfect to keep the kids entertained. About 15 minutes from Dutch Wonderland and 15 minutes to Strausburg Railroad - great weekend all in all and a very central location for many attractions in Lancaster.
