Purchased this house in 1999. Renovated it year by year upgrading it to live there with friends and family after being tired of renting places that weren't very nice and things didn't work. The interior was painted again in Nov 2015. I'm proud of this house. It's not a mansion but nicer than the great majority of ski houses I've seen rented in Killington. Chose this location for it's proximity to bars, restaurants, and slopes, plus tons of parking and breakfast place across the street as well as the ski bus stopping infront of the house. :)
The Owner purchased this house in 1999
My friends and I were renting in Killington for years and love it here in Killington. It has the most ski terrain, nightlife, restaurants, spas, etc. in the northeast and the house location is perfect and close to all the above, very close walking distance to bars, restaurants, and breakfast place, so perfect. Plus the ski bus stops literally infront of the house, you never have to drive once you're there if you don't want to. :)
Very large hot tub, largest hot water heater available for a house, ski bus literally stops at the house, breakfast and coffee place across the street, skating at the Foundation pond a few houses away, tons of parking, bars, restaurants, and spa very close by, on the Killington Rd (aka Access Rd), so location is ideal and the property is improved each year by the owner based on suggestions. House is renovated per the description. House also has a caretaker that is very responsive if something is ever needed.
We had a very large group of around 24 people and the house was easily large enough for us. Bill was easy to work with and the house was in great shape when we arrived. Very close to the mountain, and the two hot tubs were a nice touch. Also breakfast and a ski shop across the street came in handy. Would recommend.
Bill was great to deal with and quick with the responses to questions leading up to our trip and even during our stay! We had a large group of guys for a Bachelor Ski weekend and one of the great things about this property is that he has custom built full sized bunk beds in every room. I have to say all my 6 ft+ friends thanked me that they all could sleep comfortable. The hot tub after both long days of skiing was a big +!!!! (w/ plenty of room for everyone.) The game room in the basement was a good place to chill out and keep the noise away from the early sleepers. Plenty of space in the Living room and Dinning table(s) to spread out and play some games. Even got to strike up a fire, even if it wasn't a particularly cold night. So much Parking, believe me you do not need to worry about that. Quick and convenient to the mountain and right on the bus way (we drove because I just like to have my car near by.) I would recommend this place to any group of friends looking for a weekend getaway. Also good for multiple families getting together. If thats what your looking for then go no further and reach out to Bill now!
This was our 3rd year in a row staying at Bill's house for a ski weekend and it continues to live up to the hype! Like last year, we had a very large group of people and rented both the upstairs & downstairs units. The hot tubs are large & amazing, beds are comfortable, common areas are spacious, and the kitchens had everything we needed and more. On top of all that, the location of the house is great since it's a very quick drive to the slopes and walking distance to popular places in town.
This year, a member of our group had an accident which caused costly damage to the house and, I have no doubt, a lot of stress for Bill to resolve before the next renters arrived. Bill went above and beyond, making this process as fair and painless as possible, and helped us out significantly by discounting / waiving some of the fees needed to fix it.
I would highly recommend renting Bill's house.
Loved the hot tub, the game room, the ski boot dryers, everything! Was a great house for a large group outing (16 adults), updated appliances and huge couch and nice TV. Would recommend!
A group of us just had an AWESOME ski weekend at this house! The location is very ideal - right on the access road. There is a shuttle that picks up right across the street and makes getting to the lodge/skiing and bars so easy. The middle unit is ideal for large groups. Everything was clean and updated - beds are comfy and each fit 2 people comfortably. Kitchen is very nice and updated, living room couch big enough for a large group with fireplace and large dining room table. The game room is also very spacious [and FUN!]. There are pool and foosball tables. There is also a HOT TUB :) which was amazing after a day of skiing. The owner Bill was very accommodating and always got back to us with our questions and concerns. All in all this is a great place to stay for a ski weekend - highly recommend it! Thanks Bill!
A group of us just had a wonderful weekend staying at this house up at Killington! The location is AMAZING! It is right on the access road and makes getting to the mountain and bars so easy. If you do decide to stay in the house offers a lot too. The kitchen is very nice and updated. The main floor is pretty open for a large group to gather with a huge couch, fireplace and large dining table. Downstairs is great and we got a ton of use out of the pool and foosball table. The bedroom offer great open storage to allow everyone to settle in for the weekend as well and the beds were definitely big enough for two people. All in all Great Place to stay for a ski weekend!!!
Killington's famous night life is very close by. Pancake House Breakfast, Peppino's, Woods Spa, Comfort Inn, The Foundry are all next door. Pickle Barrel, Jack's, The Garlic easy walking distance, and the ski bus stops literally at the house.
