Why Aarti S. chose 15th Arrondissement Vaugirard

We live in this very beautiful Paris quarter, we love the atmosphere, the park of the Eiffel Tower, the stores and markets and even our two favorite restaurants are here! :) Why would you want to live anywhere else when you could have a view of the most beautiful and romantic structure on earth from your living room window and balcony (while sipping a glass of champagne biensur!)- the Eiffel Tower!! When you see it lit up and sparkling at night, you cannot help but stare in awe! Come and experience Paris with all it's beauty, and we hope you choose to stay here where you will definitely have a very special stay :)

My husband and I enjoyed Aarti's apartment for 9 days in late March 2015. Exactly as the pics show- though the view is much more special! That balcony is a great bonus when returning from a say of sightseeing. You still come home to a view! The metro connection, steps away, was perfect to get us all over Paris quickly and smoothly. There is a Monoprix on the corner to stock the apartment with food, wine and anything else you may need. Aarti has though of all the amenities you may need to feel like a local (wine key!, flower vase, cooking basics, etc.). Outdoor market twice a week in front on the apartment- not too touristy, very authentic! Great creperie down the street, and the Eiffel Tower is less than a ten minute walk! The owner was very thoughtful with her restaurant and shop recommendations, and the driver, Claude, a great way to introduce you to Paris and get you to the apartment without any thought. We look forward to returning already. Did I mention it is a STELLAR deal? Book it already! Merci beaucoup Aarti!

Great location, modern, clean and very comfortable

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this apartment for ten days and loved it. It is located close to many Paris main attractions and is ideally near the Metro, grocery stores and specialty shops within a couple minutes walk. Twice a week the local outdoor farmers market sets up across the street. Apartment is well equipped and bed very comfortable.

The owner greeted us and went over all aspects of the apartment and recommended areas of Paris the we should visit.

I was concerned staying in an area of Paris that was new to me, but the apartment turned out to be a gem. Close to all possible transportation needs and restaurants abound in the area. The market on Wednesdays and Sundays is not to be missed, although the Metro is currently doing repairs under the elevated tracks where the market is usually held. Would be cramped for more than 3 people. Aarti could not be more helpful and informative.

Charming apartment with an amazing view ...

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I just got home from spending 8 days in Paris and stayed in this wonderful apartment that I can't say enough good things about. Perfect size for the two of us, bed/bedding extremely comfortable, kitchen with everything you would need to cook your own meal, nice-sized living room, free wifi and a lovely balcony where I drank many espressos and glasses of Bordeaux while looking upon the beautiful Eiffel Tower. The twice weekly market which occurs right outside the front door was amazing and super fun. Wonderful little patisserie on the next block for morning coffee and sweets/breads. Taxi stand conveniently close. Eiffel Tower a short walk away.

Aarti was extremely helpful and kind, communicating always in a timely manner and answering all of our questions and then some. Driver service was wonderful and took the stress out of finding our way out of the airport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris and I am so happy that we chose this lovely apartment over staying in a hotel. I feel that it really made our experience more authentic.Highly recommend!

L'Iris Noir Apt in Paris

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful apartment and location! We loved every minute of our stay!

The apartment was steps away to the Eiffel Tower (and as a bonus, you get to see it everyday from the balcony). I traveled with my daughter and her best friend (both teens) and they loved it. We walked the entire city; and when we got tired of walking, the accessibility to the buses and metro was perfect!. It is located in a fabulous neighborhood with a bakery around the corner, an open air market to enjoy on Wednesdays & Sundays, and plenty of cafes and restaurants for your enjoyment.

Aarti, the owner of the apartment, is fantastic! She helped us out when we had a medical emergency with my daughter and she referred us immediately to a pharmacist and a doctor in the neighborhood.

Can't thank her enough!

We stayed at L'Iris Noir for a week in June and were completely thrilled with its charm, location, safety, cleanliness, and view.

Even though this quiet & chic apartment is small (as most in Paris are), the bedroom is a nice size with fluffy pillows and down comforter, the bathroom has a great shower with plenty of hot water, the kitchen is nicely stocked for cooking (although we didn't cook while there) with a microwave, stove top, coffee maker & large refrigerator, and the living area has nice amenities (including a comfortable sofa bed, tv, & a new iPod dock). The entrance from the street is through a substantial, coded/keypad door, followed by another locked thick glass door into a nicely lit stairwell. The apartment is two floors up a circular staircase with no lift. We always felt safe even when returning late.

But best of all was the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. Every night we would watch it light up and sparkle, & every morning we would eat out on the terrace and look at it again before going out for the day.

For convenience, the apartment is located very close to a Metro station (La Motte Picquet - Grenelle), a Monoprix, McDonalds and Starbucks. For French charm, many cafes and restaurants are within walking distance (our favorite was the lively Le Suffren -- the waitstaff was friendly & fun and the food was excellent - try the scallops). Le Cafe du Commerce was also excellent (try the duck l'orange). And don't miss the market on Sun. and Wed. It's right across the street and filled with fresh food and well-priced clothing & souvenirs.

We were picked up from the train station by the very courteous Robert who gave us a brief tour of Paris on our way to the apartment. He also drove us to Charles de Gaulle at the end of our stay -- not having to navigate the Metro or trains with our luggage was well worth it.

Aarti is also a joy. She cares very much about her tenants & is extremely helpful. She responds quickly when needed and speaks perfect English.

If we ever get to Paris again (and I certainly hope we do & often), we will most definitely rent this apartment each time. We loved it and could not have imagined a better place to stay in this incredible city.
