Bedrooms 4
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

Gatlinburg Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms + Loft, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 7-14)

Large three level cabin five minutes from the parkway in Gatlinburg, but in a quiet setting, with level offstreet parking for four cars. This parking is perfect for those on bikes, because all one has to do is put the kickstand down and you are parked. The entry level has living/dining room, full kitchen, bedroom with queen and full bath. This level also has front and back porch with the large back porch having a five person hot tub, patio furniture, rocking chairs, and swing. Above the entry level is the master loft with king bed, full bath, and additional queen bed in alcove. Steps lead from the entry level to the lower level which is divided into two private bedrooms each having two queen beds and each with a full bath.

There are a total of six queen beds and one king bed, with a total of 2,500 sq ft inside and 900 sq ft of covered porches, which is ample space for a large group, but is great for a couple that wants plenty or room to roam.

Log Cabin of Gatlinburg

This cabin was very easy to find. Extremely close to the parkway, however if you are looking to travel here in icy/snow weathers, there is a very nice little hill you will have to climb. The site could use some updated pics because it actually looks better than what is shown. The bedrooms are VERY roomy. 2 queen beds in all rooms except the Master bedroom there's 1. The Master didn't have a television, but it sat right outside the living room so that wasn't a problem. There is no view what so ever, but for this price, who needs one? Mr Randy was extremely helpful! He accommodated all of our needs being next door & a phone call away. The people prior to our stay removed the HDMI cord for the TV, he came over & hooked up another one so we would be able to enjoy it. He even brought us a grill upon request. It was very small but it got the job done. The only cons of the cabin was there wasn't enough dishes/silverware to accommodate 8 people, (cabin sleeps 14). If staying more than a day I suggest you get paper plates etc. There wasn't an blender, or electric can opener & the hand can opener that was there was extremely hard to use (old). If you have a big party where people will be in each room, be sure to take showers a 1/2 hr apart or more because the hot water will run out. Other than that, it is worth a stay! My family & I will definitely be staying here again!

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us and thanks for pointing out the things that we need to do for the next guest, and I am addressing them today. Their is a hill that could give problems, but the city pre treats the roads and plows them promptly in the event of snow. I always tell people that if they can't make it to this cabin, then they probably can't make it to Tennessee. Our water supply comes from tanks that are very high on the mountain and ice forms in the top of the tanks, so consequently in the winter the incoming water is very cold and sometimes presents a problem. We do need more pictures, but we try not to over sell. Thanks again for the review. You spent the night in the cabin and you found things that I needed to know. Randy

Great motorcycle get away!

  • 5 of 5

cabin was extremely easy to find and convenient to downtown (.5 mile). The bedrooms were spacious and each having their own bath was awesome for our size group. The loft is extremely spacious with 2 beds, large double vanity and bath - keep in mind it sits over the living room so if you have early risers in your group put them up there. Noise from below is easily heard up in the loft. Nicely paved driveway and area with ample parking for all our motorcycles. The cabin was not a luxury type stay - but keeping realistic that is why the price was so affordable. Kitchen was equipped with essentials and large dining table with seating for 8. The only con I would say is that the living room was small with limited seating (5). 2 of the bedrooms had padded sitting/lounge chairs so we simply brought them out to the living room. Our group didn't mind for we didn't stay there to sit in the living room anyways, just for coffee in the AM. Hot tub was a delight at night and sitting on back porch was nice. No view since you are in the woods, but again, your not paying for a mountain view in the price. Back deck was still nice to enjoy the mountain air and sounds. Cabin served us well for our group and we absolutely will be back! Terrific place to stay as a base camp if your travels are taking you out each day to explore the area.

Very Spacious!

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 11 stayed in this cabin following Christmas 2014. The cabin itself was very spacious and accomodating to such a large group. We enjoyed the bedrooms being on three separate levels. It obviously has not been updated or remodeled in many years, but it's possible that this is one reason this huge cabin is less expensive. We called on the owner/manager one time when the smell of smoke filled the cabin. He was quick to arrive and did a walk-thru with us. He was pleasant and easy to work with. (No alarm...decided it was the heating coils or something like that:) The size and location are both excellent! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Wonderful Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had a really wonderful time for our "girls" getaway. The cabin was as described , very neat, clean and ready when we arrived. I truely love the mountains anyway, but having a great place to stay makes it even better. We spent a good portion of our time on the back deck, and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay, spending a lot of time in the Arts and Crafts area.

Spring Break 2011

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I took our 11 year old daughter and my mother with us on this spring break trip to the mountains, This cabin was perfect!!! The hot tub was so relaxing after a day at Dollywood or just exploring around the mountains. The property was clean and well maintained. Mr. Randy was always very helpful and friendly. We loved it so much we have already planned to come back to this cabin and bring our two older daughters and their families in November. There will be plenty of room for us all!

Fun Vacation

  • 4 of 5

We had so much fun on this property. I took my wife and three children. There was not a grill when we arrived, but the owner quickly brought one up to us. The hot tub was very nice and it was very quiet. There was not a mountain view, because this property was closer to town. We could look up and see the mountains but were not up high in them, which we didn't mind. Our rental was still surrounded by wooded aeras and we had the luxery of being close to town as well. Mr. Randy was so nice and provided us with extra towels and anything we needed.
