Everthing was excellent. The cleanliness of the home was excellent. Check-in/Check-out process was stress free. Over all an excellent time.
I took my mother, that is 75, and my two children. We didn't know that we were going to have such a wonderful place to stay, but boy were we surprised! Beautiful large home, very clean, well decorated, fireplace on the porch! In driving distance to waterfalls, shopping and gem mining! We have already decided we would like to return again sometime. Awesome time had by all!!
I rented two cottages through Sun Dog Places at Bear Lake Reserve and they were absolutely beautiful and amazing! The descriptions were great, the directions provided by Sun Dog Places made it easy to get to the cottages. Everyone felt like they had the comforts of home. We didn't make it to the lake house but the entire environment was gorgeous, comfortable and somewhere I would definitely return to.
My trip was excellent and Sundog was very personable. I was contacted the day of my arrival en route to determine if I had everything I needed for a late arrival. I was also given a cell phone number from a Sundog employee to use if needed. They were able to arrange for the final bill to be run on my credit card of record and delivered it to the cabin for me to sign. They also arranged to have wood delivered and stacked on the porch with little notice from me.
The only snag in the trip was when we went to deliver the keys on Sunday. The office was closed and the gate was closed at the entrance. When we walked up to the door, there was no drop box to leave the keys. I contacted Sundog via the cell phone number I was given and then made alternate arrangements to leave the key.
I will definitely use Sundog again for vacation rentals!
The house was in excellent condition! The 4th of July festivities were awesome, especially the nearness and duration of the fireworks! The lake club was fabulous! My family and I can't say enough about the property and we're considering returning next year as well. The only thing I would complain about...which is very minor... is that the gas grill ran out of gas during our stay as we were cooking one of our meals. In the future, just make sure that the gas tanks are checked prior to renting the unit or provide a spare tank just in case. Other than that, AWESOME!!!
