'Cozy' two-bedroom brownstone apt, sleeps up to four people. Located on the Upper West Side's most lovely street, a half-block from Central Park and a few minutes'walk from major subway stations.
It's the street pictured in Nora Ephron's:'You've Got Mail' and dozens of other movies -- a quaint neighborhood with food markets, newsstands, coffee shops and bars, and your choice of restaurants almost outside the door.
You can run along the reservoir in Central Park or walk across to the Metropolitan Museum. The Museum of Natural History is minutes away, as is the Jewish Museum and the Conservatory Gardens.
The apartment is two floors up. Its rear windows look out on sycamore and willow trees, and the only sounds are those of the birds in the morning.

We felt very lucky to find a 2 bedroom apartment on the UWS located a 1/2 block from Central Park for this price. We loved the location and how quiet the neighborhood was. On our first night there we walked down the block to Central Park and came out near the reservoir. We love to spend time in Central Park so this apartment was perfect for us. This area has great restaurants, coffee shops and grocery markets on Broadway, Amsterdam and Columbus.
Vera was great to work with and very professional. We hope to stay here again in the future.
The apartment is beautifully located, making for a wonderful stay in the city. The apartment itself is clean and pleasant. It is small, but not really by NYC standards and it is fairly priced, especially for the great location. The heater in the small room makes quite a bit of noise, but aside from that small inconvenience, we were very pleased with the apartment and enjoyed our stay greatly.
The apartment location is fabulous in a really beautiful. typical New York st upper west side just a minute from central park. You can walk across to east side in about 10 minutes through central park , subways to everywhere are just a few minutes walk and there is a great grocery store on the street corner and some nice restaurants and shopping around . It's a cozy ( small ) apartment but it fitted us and our 2 teenagers comfortably. comfy beds and air conditioning and a washing machine was a bonus . It was a quiet haven to come home to at the end of a busy sightseeing day . We would stay there again .Miss it already!!
Our family of two adults and two rambunctious young boys found this to be the perfect apartment in the perfect location. Beautiful street, very close to two Central Park playgrounds, close to plenty of good restaurants but the kitchen meant that we could eat in sometimes too. Everything was clean, convenient, and well-kept. We can't wait to come back soon.
The apartment was the perfect size for our family which included two teenagers. The unit was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed. It is in a really nice neighbourhood close to Central Park. There are a lot of restaurants and markets nearby. We were only 3 blocks from the subway which we used every day. The owners were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and markets in the area. We would definitely use this apartment again for another visit to New York City.
We stayed here for a long weekend as a family of four and really enjoyed it. The place has two small, functional bedrooms but a nice larger living room and kitchen area. Kitchen and bathroom were nice, clean and well-equipped and we liked having a washer/dryer. The location is family-friendly and quiet but perfect for all adventures of discovering Manhattan. It is wonderful to be so close to the park - which made for great morning runs - and to two subway lines (especially since 96St is an express stop). All communication with the owners was super easy and we were grateful for their local recommendations. The market at the corner served all our breakfast needs and the convenient table + chairs at the apartment helped us to save money by eating in. We were here during very hot August days and so we struggled a bit with the fact that the window-ACs were very loud and could hardly be left on during the night. So in addition to the squeaky bunk bend, sleep was hard to come by because it was always either too hot or too loud. Nevertheless, we would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing home while exploring Manhattan.
